Masterchef Australia 2015

...while I'm at it... if I hear one more of them say... "if I don't manage this I'm going home!"... one more time... I'm going to... I'm going to... "... (probably just take another sip)... cheers.
 
...jeez!... Ashliegh is going home!... I kind of knew that when right at the beginning of the show she talked about her sick mum... it was obvious to me that they put that up as one good reason to cover her farewell appearance as far as I'm concerned... she's done well though... (although her voice used to go right through me)... well done Ashliegh... keep on cooking girl!... cheers.
 
What did Ashleigh's update say? My vision is terrible and I didn't focus in time.
 
What I learnt:

Jessica has some nice eyes behind those specs.

It bugs me that every week the pressure test contestants leave before the safe contestants have even dressed, and yet arrive after the safe contestants are already up on the balcony.

Matthew is out of the running as my new dentist.
 
I'm so angry Ashleigh went. Yes her voice drove me up the wall but I loved her so much. I would have loved to have seen her in the finals with Billie. Alas tonight just wasn't her night, I honestly thought she's was safe until her dessert failed to blossom like a flower. Matthew is my next to go. I hope he goes soon. I rather did love Ashleigh though. She was a terrific contestant and a brilliant cook. Now for Matthew and Reynold to go next and I'm hoping Billie takes this whole thing out! GO BILLIE!
 
I think Matthew survived so as not to futher emphasise the gender imbalance, rather than his dessert being better than Ashleigh's.

And i agree, the dessert was cack. Sure, it opened nicely like a pretty flower, but it still looked like a sloppy mess to eat, and no one in their right mind would spend 3 hours plus making asuch a ridiculous thing for so little result.
 
There was a strange vibe to the judging of Ashleigh tonight. The judges were just going through the motions as the outcome was predetermined during the cooking phase. They even railroaded the guest judge. I found her repetitive and annoying, but I think most of that was producers telling her and asking certain questions. I think there were mild shenanigans going on trying to make a spectacle of the dessert queen fluffing a dessert.

Because of the shaky hands? LOL I hear ya.
 
My favourite was Ashleigh when it first began but I think she soon fell behind the pack and it was probably stress from worrying about her family and lack of confidence overwhelming her. She is a sweet girl and I wish her well. For the past few weeks, Billie has my vote. I just love her and the focussed competence and determination she shows in every challenge.

Not a fan of Jessica but I like Matthew and Reynold.

...this is my first season with Masterchef for me reepbot so I'll have to take your word for it... what was so special about him?... was he such a great cook or was it his personality that you liked the best?... cheers.
 
I'm glad they didn't win the pins tonight, it would have made it too one-sided.

It makes me roll my eyes so much watching the judges arse kiss the professional chefs, especially Matt Preston. Pretending like it's really a blind tasting.
