Masterchef 2017

I love Sarah, but how wanky that the judges just told her that it was her STORY and the "emotional resonance of her dish" that won it. UGH, just tell her she cooked well, it's MasterChef, not MasterStoryteller. I need my food to taste good, not to read me a story.
 
I don't watch Shark Tank but I haven't changed channels yet. Heather from last year just told the judges she was on MasterChef, and one of them mumbled "well done" and looked down in the same way you would wipe dog shit off your shoe before you ruin the carpet.

And BURN to the Masterchef judges. When asked who was her favourite she replied "Nigella" :D

...I was wondering if it was because we're all so conditioned for their favourites to win it by now that our brains go into 'auto' mode and take it for granted that who we want to win is the loser as per usual so you can be forgiven for the mistake Meglos lol!... cheers.

I enjoyed it too. Major difficulties with Telstra hopeless 3G service as usual.
Almost hate their ads as much as the blatant favoritism that Gary and George show. Interesting that my friends who follow the show think the same as many of us do. My 82 year old friend Mary likes Sarah too.

...as I said rather angrily in my post before... the stuff that dribbles out of their mouths just to describe some of their offerings is just plain ridiculous... if I could be bothered I'd do a Photoshop of that but it would just end up being a "'Who's on first' Abbott and Costello routine... it just wouldn't make sense... and besides... I'd have to listen to all of that drivel again so I won't methinks!... just for the reasons of keeping my remaining sanity!... lol!... cheers.

Her food was just better I think. Put the two dishes together and I know which one I'd dive into, but I'm a bit of a sucker for pork belly. I also cooked piggy belly three nights ago. I have three to die for butchers ( all owned and source local)

...haha!... I cooked Pork Belly 2 nights ago... two minds thinking alike again lol!... and I've finally converted my sweet darling wife over to eating Pork Belly after years of trying to get her to taste it!... she loves it now... lol!... cheers.

She is. And I will tell her, although she was a bit shocked to hear about how I played online with this lovely forum. She has two gay sons amongst her nine kids and 25 at last count grand kids. Totally fab. So glad that your sweet wife likes pork belly now. I honestly don't mind that I don't have to share.

Do you think that she is aware of the wank factor? That dish looked to die for. Karlie's not so much.

...oh my... how remiss of me... I forgot about this from Monday nights episode my dear friends... please forgive me... I must have had a 'seniors moment!'... lol!... and... here it is... (I'm pretty sure that it's the one that you were talking about Desertsands)... am I wrong?... and it looks suspiciously close to an eyeroll to me Desertsands so you could be right... lol!... again... sorry for the delay in posting it folks!... cheers.
