I was only half-watching last night until the tastings - but rewatched my recording today and it's funny how they don't take the obvious hints from the judges. Callan got a bad reaction to his beef with chocolate sauce, and it was the chocolate sauce idea Gary and thingo were
very iffy about - but he interpreted it to mean he needed a gamier meat and then did lamb (undercoooked) with choc sauce! Seeing it played out made it less gutting he's in the sitout bench for Heston week when he's such a keen fan.
Are they going for a bit of a Miami version of the Rat Pack with those hats and shades? All the old boys seem
a lot more relaxed and into the comp out of that studio and hanging in nature. Heston, also.
Heston I think is very shy - but seems to feel braver with his expensive looking shades on and is really emotional and articulate this season. I like it!
...gee we're a pretty quiet bunch tonight compared to other nights... are we all just getting blase' about the judging part now?... I suspect we are with the 'same old same old' eh?... cheers.
I've been working my ring off the last week so am not posting much; sorry if I've missed alerts as they're mounting up and I've not had time to go back and read the threads as too knackered.
I am really liking Heston week, into the show, and happy a lot of my favourites are doing well. Still dirty about Bryan, though...
I will be back making silly comments tonight, I hope.
