Lockdown.

So if they weren't in lockdown when the ad came out about a housemate having the ultimate power - do you think that the motivation behind that was for them to be thinking about it before they go in? Maybe feed some paranoia and create conflict when they're talking to each other when they meet - trying to figure out if that person is 'the mole'?
PS I hate with a passion that whole concept. I got so sick of hearing in previous seasons wondering if someone was 'the mole'.
I like it when the conflict that's created is from personality clashes rather than external prodding.
 
So what like some would be in lockdown and some not? I could see this being used to some people's advantage to create chaos, which kind of sounds fun.

Likely. BBUK just did the power housemate thing and I highly doubt any of the chosen ones hasn't researched, if not watched, other BB shows to prepare themselves. They're always going to speculate if there will be a power housemate so BB didn't bother keeping it secret.

This is true, the HM's see all the ads and do research before entering the Big Brother house. I'm rewatching BB '05 and Angela before she got evicted mentioned something about a couple in a previous series so I agree it's likely that they've done that to plant it into the HM's heads but there will be nothing like that at all.
 
There's no question HM's try to get clued onto BB to improve their chances. Ben from BB08 even mentioned Behind Big Brother while in the house, in conversation with (I think) David. It was caught on live stream ;)
 
We know Tim mentioned he read details on her before he entered the BB house.

Also Angela tried to open the secret gold bathroom, cause she saw the houseplan on here before she entered.

All I will say is good Luck to those heading into a Lockdown in the next 48 hours. May the best player Win.
 
so while they are in lockdown, will we be getting ads on certain hms like we did for last years with Sharon? Not that it gave her an advantage anyways
