I totally understand your point and do tend to agree. I don't know about you, but it could be our ages. These days there's an endless amounts of people you've never heard of, no one seems to have heard of them. Yet there's still apparently plenty of people who have. Everything is more siloed off, and the net gives a big reach which isn't main stream.

Today in the house people were discussing celebrities and the comments here were, "never heard of these famous people."
