Live stream chit chat

Live stream is defs unbearable with the amount of muting. There are so many times when they could at least move it to another convo.

Also next year, I hope they at least keep the housemates up till 2am each night. This was when they were having the best convos and for me it’s a good time to watch, only time I have time to watch.

I think Coco senses it's become the Holly show and is fielding out what she feels she needs to do to compete for the spotlight (the situationship with Bruce). They're the two women in the house who are in the same age bracket.

However, Holly is so in her own world that she probably doesn't even pick up on Coco's passive aggressiveness.
I have a pet theory that Coco is strategising hard

This cast is actually pretty good with only a few notable exceptions (Hoggy, Colon, Bruce), but every season has its duds. We can be pretty unforgiving about things in the moment, but in hindsight this won't be so bad. It's leaps and bounds better than anything Seven offered (besides Queen Angelicious). I even extend that to Abiola who is the Lisa of the group.

The real flaw is in the edit. It's skewed so heavy towards artificial storylines and failed to provide a more even handed lens on who all of these people are and how they coexist. We see it much more objectively in the live feeds, but even that is limited and skews towards certain HMs.

If they drop the casting of artificial characters and provide a more balanced edit, this show would be infinitely better.
I’d have to agree. I think they nailed the cast. There’s definitely a good mix of characters, without it being too in your face/clones of each other and I think if the season was longer we’d definitely see them all unravel/show layers and some reach icon status.

I also hope the put a shelter over the live crowd. Back in the day (mid 2000’s) I went to a lot of live evictions in the amphitheater and they were mint!! I wouldn’t go with no roof.

Yeah I think so too. What got me was when she started crying over what holly said about Em. I’m also annoyed housemates can reveal what they’d do with the money and the producers show it. This was 101 nono in OG bb. It can influence the public and housemates too much.

My theory is they’ll move the house outside dream world next year. I think it’ll be too disruptive to keep having to re-set everything inside dreamworld and shut rides down especially if they’re going to have a longer run.

I reckon they might even use where the house is now as an indoor stage and move house somewhere close outside dreamworld.

They really need to clarify or post something on the socials (preferrably on a forum or live chat) on why they keep censoring the feed and such.

Because it is now like the UK level of censoring at this point today.
They really don't. It's been said here a thousand times over, it's also just plain common sense.

The current location is a hireable space that's actually quite valuable at this time of year. It'll stay at Dreamworld, but I suspect it'll shift to somewhere (perhaps the old amphitheatre location) where they can build something a little more purpose built. It's just a slab with a shed on top of it.

Oh fair. Nah I knew the shed where the house is, is hireable. I wasn’t sure about the stage area, is that a hireable area too? That’s why I thought they might move the stage into the shed and the house elsewhere.

Like I get the reasons why as I am a fan myself, but casuals who just tune in would have no clue on why.

Facebook people were constantly complaining about the mutes and such, so having someone to clarify will make them understand a bit more.

A roof would require some kind of reinforcement which costs money and becomes an imposition for the park once production bumps out. What's they've done is make the most of a very temp location and prayed for the best.

I'm surprised they didn't have some kind of contingency for a temp setup under the Main Street canopy, but weekly bump in/out's would be a bitch, especially where setup/rehearsals happen during park hours.

Even if this season wasn't intended as a test and learn, there are a lot of lessons for them to take away from it.

My line on the cast is that it's better than the 2014 cast. Not that that's hard, that season's casting was absolutely awful. But I'm not sure I'd have it above any other non Seven cast. I guess you can argue 2002 maybe, other than Jess, Marty, Nathan and Kieran that season had a ton of duds too. But certainly not any others for me.
