I am around her age (slightly older) and (unfortunately) in her defence when I was in school we were never allowed to use white out as we had to show our mistakes.... even scribbling over them to the point where you couldn't see the words was a big problem and you would be called out for covering up mistakes.

To be fair if I had the money, I would relocate to Melbourne, mainly to go to heaps of Collingwood AFL/AFLW games.
