I guess they don’t want too much content in the hours before the eviction so that
a) Tuesday’s show won’t have too much of a jump back in time
b) Them having more time for the nominations, potentially also an interview with the evictee

I can understand the younger people but how do Michael, Alanna and Jane sleep that long? I'd have been up ages ago having still had 8 or 9 hours sleep.

I was wondering that too! Maybe all the lights and colours of the house take it out of them a bit more than the real world does? Thats really my only observation. I would wake up so stiff if I stayed in bed that long!

Monday shows barely show much footage from before the eviction - No point showing any Michael/Jane/Holly shenanigans if they're already out of the house.

True but the housemates on day 1/launch night said they were talking to a female BB voice. I never heard it on stream so it was either during the mutes or the diary room
