Leo's metamorhposis

When Leo first entered the house I thought he was the usual gym freak. Then I started to find him interesting. Two mums, actual depth, considered thoughts.. Then, out of nowhere he turned into a Skye loving sycophant, despite earlier observations of her immaturity and vapidness.
Cut to, the few days as a "neighbour" and the guy has turned into a giant, sooky mess! He has become desperate and pathetic and a hanger on. He even LOOKS different! Sad, lonely and pathetic. He says he wont chase Skye and next thing he is draped all over her in the lounge. He seems to have her figured out but continues moping around begging for approval. I have lost all respect and all interest and actually find him quite repulsive now..
Thoughts?
 
I've actually grown to like Leo over the past week or so. I think the way he's been acting around Skye shows that he's only human. I really think he's falling for her. In spite of all their little chats about not becoming a couple and taking the huff after arguments, he just can't help himself.
 
Leo is like a bottle of moisturiser.

Some rough, definite parts might squeeze out sometimes, but it's really just soft shit.

That being said i have actually liked Leo a little more since he came back from the neighbour thing
 
I just want him to man up a bit! Do something interesting! This pathetic losing at love thing is getting old.. I wish he WOULD walk away from Skye - make some other connections, go back to meditating.. shake it up! And to be honest, he looks like he needs about 7000 bottles of moisturiser on that sharpay looking face of his.. When did that happen?!

He doesn't give a hoot about anyone else but himself and anyone who likes him.

Only reason he is liking Skye so much is cos she was the only one who really wanted to know him. When they get out and he has 1000s of thots tryna get some of him he will forget her.
 
I think he's very insecure. He was the chubby boy with three mums who got teased a lot at school. Now he's changed his body but his mind hasn't kept up. Inside he's still that chubby boy who gets teased. He wouldn't have been able to get a girl like Skye before his gym junkie days. She wouldn't have even looked at him especially considering Skye is a shallow as a piece of cling wrap and considers beauty to be everything. (I don't know why he'd have wanted her but each to their own). His actual persona doesn't match up with the zen beauty he tries to present. He totally crumbled when he thought no-one voted for him to get out of the sanctuary. I think he's really struggling.
 
The sanctuary broke him. And you know that saying that someone has "sucked the life out" of you? Skye basically has done that to Leo. He even looks jaded, tired and broken. He's aged about 5 years in a month. I noticed last night he's lost a lot of weight too. I almost feel sorry for him, except he asked for this in a clutch at fame. And now he's the "Pride Of The Gold Coast" and thinks he's going to come out and be Australia's newest IT couple with Skye. :laugh:
 
Alex and Mike were talking yesterday about Leo and said they heard from his family and friends he does those positive affirmations and meditation because that's what he needs to do to motivate himself not to go back to what he used to be. I can imagine if you've gone through a life change like that, especially after having a bit of a rough trot growing up, that you'd want to do what you could to remind yourself how far you've come and prevent yourself from slipping back into old patterns.

Yep - great analysis @Raphael.......

Leo definitely has MAJOR issues....he is extremely passive aggressive, you can see this in his non verbal language, his stance when he is lining up at the 'roll call' after nominations and again reflected on eviction night....the way he behaves like a pouting two year old when things don't go his way and also his ongoing paranoia about who has nominated him and why....he acts so shocked that HE could be nominated??!!!

It does make for good viewing though lol but yeah not sure how he passed the psychological testing....clearly one of the producers has a crush on him and that how he made it through.......

This!!! 100% It's actually quite shocking how much his face has changed in the past few weeks - he looks haggard and tired and OLD! He came in looking great! It's awful to see..[DOUBLEPOST=1415830829][/DOUBLEPOST]Awful in a humane sense - still think he's got tickets.
 
They way he spoke to lina and Priya yesterday was so concise and measured. He has been alright to listen to lately.
 
I think that allowances need to be made for the time in the sanctuary. He has zero body fat, and then went to a diet of pot noodles. You see it on Survivor all the time that the guys built like him crash the hardest, physically and psychologically, at the beginning of the game when they switch to a diet of just rice.

The other times, judge away.
 
I don't mind Leo. The sanctuary certainly broke him and he's not bounced back but that's been one of the few interesting developments during this season. I kind of see him beginning to see things in a different light and that 'new awakening' might have interesting ramifications. The look of utter disdain he had for Skye when she was squealing like an idiot about stepping in poop was pretty funny, he was kind of like "oh god kill me now" and I lolled as I sat on the couch with my feet up on the coffee table and went back to painting my toenails.

I like the way his face has 'aged' since the Sanctuary. That took more out of him than anyone thought and potentially could've been dangerous for his physical health. If he has to really physically, mentally and emotionally work hard to not go back to being the other Leo, all of that, plus rejection from Skye in not voting for him, would've worked on his mind and been very challenging for him I am guessing. We can theorise all we like on here but as we haven't walked in their shoes, pooey or not, we really have no idea what it's like.

I agree. When he first came in I thought yep gym jock but then he said a few Zen things and I thought he might be interesting. As soon as he hooked up with Skye that was it!Surely he knows she's a massive player and can turn it on and off depending where the cameras are.Surprised if he's early thirties maybe 35-38 would be my guess. Lost respect for him as he's still mooning over Skye after she didn't pick him.He even looks different like he's fed up with it all. Massive disappointment.

No way is he thirty..mid-late thirties I'd guess.
