Lawson on being in a relationship, "whoa whoa, pump the breaks"

And yeah, not saying Cat would do any of that stuff, but your arguement that things like that don't happen in real life is WAAAAAAY off base.

I guess what I mean is they do psych screening of the housemates, so they're (hopefully) not going to pick any genuinely unbalanced individuals who'd actually do proper crazy stuff. We'll leave that to BBUK!

Umm you need to try watching the Crime channel on Foxtel. Stuff like that, and worse, does actually happen in real life. It's horrible the things people do, and often to those they say they love the most. There's a few docu-shows in particular; Murder In-Law, Unusual Suspects, Happily Never After, Fatal Vows, Stalked:Someone's Watching, Obsession: Dark Desires... and the creepiest is one I can't remember the name of but it's always a 'happy couple' then someone cheats, and then one of the 3 always ends up dead. These shows are ALL real stories that have happened to real people.

The NASA astronaut wearing adult diapers thwarted in her cross-country trek to dispose of her love rival!

Cat seems like a combination of a very assertive person mixed with someone who is actually quite sad and lonely on the inside. She's genuinely attracted to Lawson, but she's pushing it along at a faster rate than it should be going at (and that's aside from the fact that he also has/had an outside relationship). As for Lawson, he seems totally taken by the thrill of having an attractive woman flirting with him so a lot of his reaction is this high of "Woohoo! Sexy lady wants me!" - probably stuff that had died down in his long-term relationship. When he has time to reflect on things, along comes the guilt. But then BFF Cat comforts him and makes the bad feelings go, which leads to Sexy Cat. And the cycle repeats.

I think there are genuine emotions in there from both of them, but it's never going to be a happy relationship.

BTW, Clawson is my fave thing about BB this year!

I agree with that. It must be a bit of a boost for someone like Lawson to have an attractive women like Cat desire him.

You posted that it will never be a happy relationship. Let's say that Cat and Lawson decide to get together on the outside, how long do you see their relationship lasting? Very short? Short? Long time?

Clearly Lawson & Candice were having problems prior to him going into the house. We even saw him say that they broke up a week before he entered the house but then got back together the next day. We don't know what on earth he has told the other HMs and in particular Cat regarding his 'relationship troubles'.

Well, Aisha was his partner and she is very vocal about Lawson's betrayal of Candice. It would almost seem like Lawson hadn't mentioned the alleged 'relationship troubles' prior to his cheating. The fact that both Jason, Aisha, Ryan and Priya had all spoken about the inappropriateness of pursuing the friendship between Cat and Lawson prior to the cheating is indicative that Lawson's relationship with Candice was seen as a committed long-term relationship by the other housemates. The fact that Aisha (who Lawson spent lots of one-on-one time with when he was paired with her and would undoubtedly have discussed his personal life) viewed the cheating so harshly and the fact Jason talked about the hurt and heartbreak Candice would be suffering seems to indicate that the 'relationship troubles' he now alleges to have were not heavily discussed prior...if at all.

Absolutely! Great movie, and Kathy was awesome. The scene where she puts the block of wood between his knees then smashes the sides of them with a sledge-hammer still haunts me to this day though. That one scene really disturbed me for some reason. :nailbiting:
In the book she cut off his foot & cauterised it with a blowtorch

When I look at kat, I can see some signs of aging. Her eyes have dark bags and she has a few fine lines around the eyes. Her youthful look is starting to diminish. But for a 31 year old.. she is still hot. Not to mention her nice boobs (.)(.)

Her dark bags are probably from lack of sleep due to sleeping next to Travis. No wonder she moved next to Lawson.

Nah I think they are pernament.

You can see dark bags under her eyes.

If kat change her hair colour... to maybe a lighter blonde with less highlights. It Wil make her look more bright and fresh

I think Cat looks good for her age. I had way more wrinkles at her age. Then again I never wore sunscreen when I was a kid/teenager. The sun is an aging bitch.

Let's say that upon leaving the house, Candice and Lawson amicably split and there's no drama between them (unlikely, but let's just say) and so this leaves Cat and Lawson free to be a couple. After the first few shagtastic days, they'd then have to deal with bucket loads of reality - friends, family, jobs, cities. Not to mention random people in supermarkets yelling at them. So that's going to be hard. I'd say they'd probably have as much luck as Drew and Tully did.

BTW, the age difference comes up a bit, but I don't think that's such a worry. Some friends of mine were the exact ages/genders of Cat and Lawson when they got together. They're now happily married with three kids. But no reality TV background!

Do people yell in supermarkets? But I agree that the fact they are both in completely different places in their lives, and the fact that they live in different cities will mean that any out relationship between Cat and Lawson will be a challenge.
