This guy is going to be an early favourite! Hopefully his novelty doesn't wear off too early though. Based on first impressions he seems like he'll be add great value to the house - and he is hilarious!

I agree. I mean, I understand that the only aspect of his character and appeal can't just be the gay thing and they need to find someone with something else going for them, but they could have tried a little harder than just "Ben #2".

Look don't get me wrong I like him but this personality has been done to death, we sort of see a guy like this every year.

Well, for starters, he is this year's Benjamin12.

And he's gay? I thought he implied that he has those *click* moments but is straight and that we shouldn't stereotype all straight men as gay if they acted that way? Oh, and didn't the producers say that they won't bring in effeminate/campy guys like the two Bens this year? I could swear that I read that somewhere on this site...

Anyway, it's a shame. There is this bias (or fetish rather) among the predominantly straight producers who only want handsome and attractive straight men rather and, I guess, are 'threatened' to allow in attractive, 'normal' acting gay men.

Why can't we have a gay man like Dion or Travis? Why don't the producers allow these kind of men in? Is this something that we'd NEVER see?

I dont really think he's that much of an oddball. Nowhere near ben13 anyway. In his video clips he dressed somewhat 'normal' but wore a stupid outfit to go into BB. I kinda feel it wasn't his decision to wear it and was probably made (or asked) to.
