He is crushing on Lisa who is a strong older lady (she's 29 but she looks hell of a lot older). My theory he loves the teacher school boy fantasy scenario.
Other thoughts:
Tolerant of Gemma's shit so that's a plus,
seems like a caring guy and has a Clark Kent look.
Yes I like him, but if he keeps persuing Lisa it will be his downfall.
 
he's digging himself a hole with the Lisa shit... once he finds out how popular Skye is I reckon he might swoop back in on that.

one of the articles released about Lisa before she went on BB says she's in her early 30's...

Yeah, I can't say that I am a fan of Jake. For one, he is actual roommates with Tim, which answers a lot, so he has obviously tried to take notes from Tim and seems to be loudly over-the-top fake with his persona.
 
I think he's fairly harmless, doesn't bother me at all, and actually kinda lean on the side of liking him. It takes the patience of a saint to stick by Gemma and he's done it, all the while being nice and sweet to her. I would have ditched her sorry arse after 2 seconds, pair or not!
