You're too brutal, falling for someone is not foolish even when they don't return it back. It is just a part of growing up, she's 23 and she's had bad luck in the past. Being naive is not inherently a bad thing given her relationship history, I know I was. I'm sure you were too, it happens and in her case on national tv. I'm not saying she's set for life with those prospects, I was saying she would not use the money on Ed given she's got her own path to follow. "Yeah whatever" is ignorance.

You cannot speak for Jade, surely, even if you're her best friend. Why would she suddenly become a savvy business woman and use her money wisely if she won? Has she demonstrated these traits on the show? No, she hasn't. She's been clueless. Are you saying that her naivety is just an act?

I feel almost insulted. About the head... we are talking about Jade's head, right?

My dad had a Bob Dylan record. "It's All Right Ma'" --- somewhere in the song the lyrics went like:

I have had sleepless nights just to find a cure for Jade's head, a million scenarios... sadly, my final verdict is that she needs a new head all together. Too much baggage there in her head. Despite her loving father and probably mother, that moving from country to country and splitting up of her parents, her head being overfilled with two different types of values, no doubt she probably tried her best, but I don't think she's quite handling it yet. Problemo grande.

No that's not what I'm saying, I'm saying that being naive isn't at all a bad trait, persistence always pays off. Jade is clueless because she lets people in and gets close to them. That does not mean that she'll gladly give them all her money lol. You don't have to be a savvy business woman to know what the best course of action is for yourself. Particularly with the latest turn of events.

I don't really want Jade to win (I'd prefer her over Tahan and Boog) but I actually think she has a chance! Jade is the only one left in the 'nice' group so everyone that prefers that group will vote for her. She will also get the sympathy vote and she always has had a strong fan base.

If she thought she was undeserving she wouldn't fall hard for meatheads like Ed. She would find attraction in average guys like 'normal' girls do. So it's obvious that she doesn't see herself as a 'normal/average' girl and goes for guys who she thinks she's entitled to (eg. ripped jocks like Ed).

How did she treat an 'alternative' (borrowing MG's word) guy (who's considered very attractive by many females by the way) who she dismissed immediately for any potential romance just because Drew didn't have the hard yummy biceps she's attracted to?

She was flippant to his blatant interest in her and not only that she wanted to keep prick teasing him and have him wrapped around her little finger to do her bidding. I've said it a millions times before and I'll say it again, Jade is not the innocent sweet girl her fans think she is.

I've unfortunately dealt with girls like this before and you have to scratch below the surface to get a real sense of who they are and when you do it ain't pretty.

It sounds like you don't understand that much a bout LOVE. You can choose whether or not to be a nasty, bitchy or bully person. But you can not choose who you gonna fall in love for. Many of us have been or will be fooled in love. It's how human beings are. So why being so strict to criticise a fault that many young people experience. Everyone makes mistakes in life & learns lessons from it to be more mature.

Many of Jade fans are those who have good hearts & have high level of empathy. We like her because she is a genuine, caring, loyal & lovely hearted-girl. We have seen many people who have been fooled in love, from the rich to the poor, from the smart to the successful, so it's a normal fault for young people. Her inside beauty outweighs her only downfall for being fooled in love by a player. If he didn't send her mixed signals then thing may have happened differently. We feel sorry for her being naive.

I'm sure her family & friends will give her necessary support & advice when she left the house. I think you may worry too much for her.

I reckon you should get some more experience in love b4 discuss further about it. Love is very abstract & has its very own language.

It sounds like you don't understand that much a bout LOVE. You can choose whether or not to be a nasty, bitchy or bully person. But you can not choose who you gonna fall in love for. Many of us have been or will be fooled in love. It's how human beings are. So why being so strict to criticise a fault that many young people experience. You can separate your thinking from your emotions, try it.

Yes true...but Jade took the "victim" role to a new level...even the most empathetic person would be confused....its a television show she only knew him for a couple of weeks and started acting besotted beyond belief....and that's why I don't believe it...its a self serving way to get a free ride...jade thought she was the prize...problem was ed thought he was the prize!!!!....so it was a battle of wills ..both self serving...jade to get an easy ride....and ed running away but still using her for defence as a strategy...it was the most pathetic performance from 2 people I have ever seen on tv or in real life....they're both as determined as each other...but jade kept at it....hahaha didn't she?

She isn't funny...I'm trying to remember one clever thing she has said that has made me laugh and I can't think of one....She isn't that smart (Watching her get destroyed by Tahan in the flag challenge was not surprising in the least)...She is delusional with her infatuations...

She isn't a nicer person than everyone left....Lets stop that right now (It seems to be a major point Jade fans (esp of FB) bring up with Jade that she's nice and kinder than everyone)...all the HG's have shown nice sides left so I think it is absolutely foolish to say she is nicer than the others....and the Tahan comment was way worse than anything anyone else has said.

Tim, Tahan, and Drew have earned their spots in the Final 3 IMO...and it would be a shame for someone like Jade to end up there when she has basically brought nothing to the season other than a faux romance...

Love is a chemical reaction in your brain - and you can control it, you can look at the object of desire and see, nah not good for me.
It is not abstract - in jades case it was specific and calculated lust and pursuit. The girl is not in love, if she thinks that is love - she has enormous problems - don't you agree?

It's like the 'live for today but plan for the future' quote. It's fine to live a little by your heart and follow your dreams and do things on a whim or whatever but that doesn't excuse being an idiot about it.
