Perhaps Goon could share some insight? If he knows anything...
I'm thinking it had more to do with ratings...
I agree. The first "Confidential" show was aired at 10:00pm after the first episode of the revival of "Dallas" which rated pretty bad as well. I wish they gave the show another chance on the main channel or GO! on a different night and an earlier timeslot. Maybe at 9:00 or 9:30pm. We should definitely be seeing all aspects of the housemates. We need M Rated content.

I've got the power
Because Underbelly and the upcoming Love Child are family viewing. hypocrites.I don't think Nine would let a MA show go to air.![]()
If you watch the Block tonight, theres so much sexual references on that. meant to be a family show. sex sells
Except when it comes to Big Brother. Apparently.Because Underbelly and the upcoming Love Child are family viewing. hypocrites.

Underbelly being the number one culprit.
So hypocritical.

I really don't see why it is so horrible for them to air an Uncut version of the show. Airing something with an MA15+ rating late nights on GO once a week is not going to be upsetting anybody nor does it have to damage the "family friendly" brand. Parents who would complain about that are simply bad parents who have nobody to blame but themselves. As has been mentioned, channel 9 air much worse things in much earlier timeslots.
Remember that Channel 10 did bring back some semblance of Adults Only content in 2008 with Big Mouth - of course it wasn't the same as Uncut, but it was something and it did go to air without much drama. They listened to the requests for FNL and for a more diverse cast, yet they continue to ignore everything else.
And apparently BB: Confidential is back again this year. I have no idea why - it was panned by even the most loyal of BB fans. Cancel it and give us Uncut. If they really want to test how far they can take Big Brother, then it's something they need to take a chance on.

I've asked Alex on twitter. I don't expect him to answer, but he did answer my cheese question so we have a dialogue now lol

In an article in Sydney's Telegraph Sonia mentioned how nervous they were last year and how they were 'erring on the conservative side'. She went on to say that they were 'a lot more relaxed' SO you never know they might do something more MA?

Is it just me or does this year seem more 'adult', so maybe confidential may be more like the olde uncut show.
Hell they even did a scene of Matt walking around in his tight red undies in the daily show and in an earlier show a prolonged Matt having a shower scene!
You never know

I wish they did have an uncut this year and no, I don't find this year more "adult". Seems way too tame. I'm almost wanting an R rated version, oh what the hell, I want an X rated version! LOL!

Then why does Channel 9's TV Guide only mention the daily show this Thursday?

The networks in Australia usually update their EPG's at the last minute, so it will eventually show up in the EPG.
