Even Skye is a brunette. Her hair has dark roots.

Are dirty blonde and light brown interchangeable or synonyms?

I'm no fashion or hair expert, but my eyes see a light brown colour on her roots. But as I said, is light brown deemed as "dirty blonde" and vice versa?

I believe Skye would have dirty blonde hair- though her roots in contrast with the platinum blonde it is dyed gives the illusion she is brunette. I am a brunette, so I know what brunette roots look like- and it's much darker than that!

Yep definitely! Brunette regrowth tends to look black when coming through platinum hair and you notice it when it is just millimeters in length. Skye's roots are definitely dark but I'd say she is a childhood blonde who has naturally fairish hair now.

Lol @Shackles try telling a naturally sandy blonde girl they have brown hair, I think that's a mistake you'd only make once.
