Is Priya the most considerate housemate?

Priya has been kind and compassionate throughout the game, she is also very strategic but one does not necessarily cause the other. I see many of the same characteristics in David as well, must be why they are my favorite HMs this year. I think some of it comes from maturity and the rest from a natural empathy that others in the house haven't developed as fully yet(and some probably never will.

The thing I was addressing more was the actual herd mentality shown by Lisa & Friends against David or Ryan, David and Sandra against Skye last week, etc.

I don't think she would engage in this kind of behaviour and I don't think she has.

Yeah, I certainly agree she wouldn't do it to anyone's face. I'm not sure of her real reasons for standing behind Gemma (it could have been kind or strategic) but I don't think she'd turn around and take the side of the majority in any situation after she did that (even if she agreed with them). She does participate in and initiate herd like behaviour though IMO...she just does it behind people's backs. She's too clever for me to think that her little "chats" with members from her group about certain other HMs aren't intentional. IMO she's trying to influence the way they think about that person and further segregate them.

Yeah I agree and nobody is immune from engaging in such behaviour in an environment like that.

But I don't think it detracts from her considerate nature nor is it her primary motivator.

FTR I do think she's very kind/considerate...but I don't think she's completely innocent either. Which is fine. If I wanted to watch a HM that was scared to never put a foot wrong I would have wanted Jason to stay.

There is nothing to talk about in the house than the behaviour of others.Priya's conversational style is direct, not conniving. A refreshing change from brash hysterics such as Aisha about Marina wanting Travis. As if!

I wouldn't say considerate...but careful. All of her actions are very calculated. There is a reason for everything she does. Whether it's trying to avoid nominations...by acting thoughtful and concerned, getting close to popular players...which I find funny...because she is popular, herself, and doesn't need this tactic, causing a divide in the house, keeping enemies closer...by inviting them to the sanctuary, or choosing an ally to take a cash payout and go...without being entirely truthful as to why. Even her choosing Gemma was a tactic. That was not about her giving Gemma a sympathy bone. That was entirely for our benefit...and it worked. She gained a lot of fans with that single move. Although her tears for Jason going were genuine...I don't think she really cares about the rest of them. She is there to manipulate them all...and us...to the end.

How about how she went on and on in the first week about that ten thousand being a life-changer for her...but then asked this week if she would take twenty thousand...she claims it would not be enough to matter. She is good at twisting every situation to make herself look the best possible. I am not complaining about this. She is playing a very good strategic game. I could go without the sneaky whispers...but that is just another card up her sleeve. (At least she has them.) It will definitely be interesting to see how she plays her power this week. Hopefully, she won't go after David...but I wouldn't be surprised. He is a worthy opponent...and she knows it.

Priya said that while her choice was Ryan she chose Gemma out of genuine compassion for her which I loved. I think her tears at last nights eviction were for herself as much as for Jason as I think the whole thing rattled her confidence. I can't even imagine Priya and David going AT each other. I would be so CONFLICTED! :)
 
This is only a minor thing, but I've noticed Priya didn't seem to like Cat at all in the first few weeks and now we see them having conversations together. It shows that Priya tries to get to know people she didn't initially like and she doesn't write people off straight away.

I love this post!

Priya is playing the game and doesn't pretend she doesn't like to be strategic to her audience. They all are playing a game of some sorts. But she can still separate the game and be compassionate. That's why I like her. She naturally is a leader imo and is so secured in who she is, that she does walk around with a sense of grace and importance, but it does not take away the beauty of her showing empathy. To me that is a deadly combo in the real world and it makes you a threat in the bb world too. I adore this woman!
 
Honestly it took me some time to warm to Priya even though I never had an issue with her aside from at one point I accused her of being boring. But it's true she is very considerate and clearly the most intelligent and mature in the house. She is now one of my favorites in the house and I would be glad to see her win. :D
