Do you consider the interaction between one party (in this case Jade), who wants to be a couple and constantly looks for opportunities to grind and flirt, while the other party (in this case Ed) is not really into the advances all the time, but on the rare occasion likes the attention and indulging in a bit of pashing and spooning with party they are not really interested in sexual harassment?

I'm genuinely not sure how to take your post? Are you someone who doesn't normally agree with other posters? Help me out here, coz I'm massively sleep deprived, and often have trouble deciphering doctors...

I'm going to assume your question wasn't rhetorical and say, no it probably wouldn't be perceived the same way if you flip it, and have Rohan as crazy stalker man, and Tahan as the one desperately trying to extract herself from an awkward situation without losing support.
It's an unfortunate fact that men will always be judged as aggressors in these sorts of social situations.

Unfortunately our world is full of people who live to be outraged, and full of people who aren't happy unless they're unhappy! There will always be a group of people who feign outrage for the sake of it. If it was Rohan acting as Jade is, I'm sure those people would be vocal in their outrage.

Having said that, I won't deny that watching this all unfold is entertaining to me. That's why I watch big brother. I like watching people in awkward social situations :)
 
I do agree that she is pushing herself onto him and it is in a way that a man could not do it because it would be called harassment for sure. Particularly forcing her way into his bed. That was fucking creepy.
 
It's hard to say on the footage we have seen really. I think he has been clear and she is pushing him. I do think her trying to be all over him in bed and him telling her repeatedly he was sleepy was definitely creepy and wrong.

Exactly I think it is a gross exaggeration calling her behaviour "disturbing". She's an insecure young woman still finding herself and unfortunately BB is going to milk it for all it's worth. We are only seeing one side of the Jade / Ed thing. Seriously if he isn't interested at all then he needs to open his mouth and articulate it. Not mumble and stammer and be confusing. I feel a bit sorry for Jade.
 
I think Ed thinks he has been clear, but the other housemates have twisted his words. I don't think what Jade is doing wrong or at all harassment. Its just sad. Has she ever said how long ago it was that she broke up with her ex? Seems she is carrying around a very broken heart, and needs to convince herself that Ed is the perfect guy and if she can land him she'll show the ex he was wrong to leave her for another woman.

Ed really needs to pull his balls out, sit her down and say what the truth is. Going by one of the latest updates Jade seems to be getting some clarity on it. I don't think Ed is 'playing' or 'using' her. Just think he isn't use to not being able to walk away from awkward situations or if he is so shy, having one of his mates do the 'dirty' work. I still think Ed is a nice guy and this whole stupid situation is really getting old.
 
I think Jade does realise that he doesn't want to be involved with her - but when you like someone, and you're in a confined space that you can't just be away from them - when they give you some affection and attention (as Ed does repeatedly especially when he drinks) Jade is still hopeful enough to want it to mean that he is interested, even though her head says that no he's not.

I've noticed her spending more time with girls this weekend, so I'm glad about that. Haven't we all needed a friend sometimes to tell us 'look, you need to stop going there'. I know when I was younger and broke up with someone we still 'hooked up' sometimes, not that I thought we'd get back together but I missed the connection. A friend set me straight about that and sometimes that's what you need.

At least she's a real person, and not one who's being someone's friend for an ulterior motive.
