Is Jades behaviour disturbing?

Her pursuit of Ed is part strategy ....and part self esteem issues.....she has said repeatedly that Ed seems to be the perfect man...so if she hooked up with him she would appear perfect by association and she probably perceives Ed to be very popular with the public so again by association she would become just as popular..

Ed is just trying to stay under the radar and doesn't want to become the 'love focus' in the house.....too many variables

Not sure about the sexual harassment theory....Ed and Jade looked pretty much entwined in bed the other night....so was obviously quite open to her advances then...

It amazes me that some people in here don't have their own life experiences to draw on. Surely most can identify. I know full well what it feels like to be Jade ie be the adoree of the man who is not interested, and I also know what it is like to be in Ed's position and have an adorer who dribbles after me in pathetic lusty love.

Neither can be deemed as sexual harassment, it is in fact normal human interaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's why I like watching it them.
Most people have been in this situation at least once in their lives.
Jade is only 22...she's got a lot to learn but Ed, this guy is in his late 20s and still can't communicate to a woman properly.
There's why you're single buddy.

I wish someone would pull Jade aside though, if Tully wasn't such a mess I think it would have been her.

Haven't you never been in Ed's position and had a serious adorer?

While it is horrible to admit, sometimes their adoring is food for the soul when you need a confidence pick me up.

I had an adorer for two years and while it is not nice to keep someone dangling, it is human nature.

Haha I have many times, I'm a tomboy that's often heavily into sports and drinking beer, guess who that attracts in droves?!
I'm just really blunt about it and usually I piss them off short term but it's better for the friendship in the long term, Ed should know by now how to deal with girls....he's a footballer he would have had loads of unwanted groupies.

To be honest he took her aside and said, "Well...urm...not...uh...*scratch nuts* in the house....don't....um.....relationship...*scratch nuts* okay?"

I think she would need a decoder ring to figure out what that meant.

Not to mention the fact that he lets her lay all over him and massage him and cuddle with him and kiss him.

he's a grown man. I think he could get her off him if it bothered him so much.

I think what we are seeing between the two of them is classic human interaction.

The only thing worse than being in Ed's position as the adored, is being in Jade's position as the pathetic, dribbling and desperate adoree.

I have experienced my arse firmly in both positions and while neither were ideal, that is life, that is basic human interaction.

Sexual harassment indeed.

It means he probably made a bad judgment call..it doesnt mean he was trying to get some from her.

As i said, ive been in the position he is in and it worked out fine.

There are times in life when I have felt sexually harassed. Those are times when I do not kiss or cuddle the other person. It's elementary dear Watson

Pretty sure plenty of people have been in the position jade is in before too ...and pretty sure that all worked out fine as well....no need to call in the police or psychologists. Consider it a good test for Ed to see if he has guts to act in private in accordance to how he speaks in public

Yeah, a bad judgement call. Let's call it that! Poor Ed made a bad judgement call. That stupid stupid Jade took his bad judgement call the wrong way!
 
I don't there is anything wrong with Jade's behaviour, she is just acting like how most girls her age would. Tahan and Tully both stated that if they weren't in a relationship outside the house then they would be doing the same. I've said this many times before but she is just a young girl looking for love, she wants someone to be with her, to help her heal (from her messy breakup). Love has its risks and sometimes people need to go out on a limb to get or at least try for what they want. Don't people have to put effort into a relationship to make it work, she's putting the effort and trying to make things work with Ed but he isn't replying back and she needs to realise this. I think that Jade would make a great partner and she deserves better than Ed, a stupid fool who doesn't appreicate what he has in front of him.
He's boring and she isn't, she wants to see herself with a family one day and she wants it soon. She has a heart of gold. <3

At first I thought it was more Ed chasing Jade - just things that happen leading up to her birthday.
Then it turned around and it was Jade chasing Ed - the kiss, then the whole share a bed/don't share a bed, Eds rambling reason for not sharing a bed, then certain HM's telling Ed and Ed telling certain HM's Jade isn't his type.
The next thing you know after a few bevies one night Jade and Ed are suggling and share a bed then in the morning again certain HM's telling Ed and Ed telling certain HM's Jade isn't his type.
Think it's unfair to totally blame Jade. Ed is to blame as well for all the mix messages. Ed needs to man up, stop talking to HM's about Jade, sit her down and tell her straight that he isn't interested in a showmance or is Ed afraid that his good guy image will take a bit of a battering? Jade needs to have some pride and back off and realise that there is more to herself than being with Ed and that persuing Ed is a dead end.
