Is Jade this year's Jo Ashton?

Those were the days housemates could bring books or musical instruments (Patrick had a guitar) and so on in. It seemed every series had someone with a musical instrument and then it just stopped.

Remember the vomit worthy grrrrrrrrrrr guy?!

He would sidle up and gently grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr in the ears of the girls and they would pretend to swoon and go all moist in the panties.

I hated grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr guy!

Yeah that was Vincent. He said something like "i have finally found someone who supercedes Venus" I think that was his GF or Ex GF?

And it really added character to the house & show. I LOVED Mirabai and her violin!!!

She was a lawyer and she had porno glasses, a bit like Xavier's above? I loved her. The pics on google don't look like anyone I can remember. She was one of a series of blondes the general public turned on for being perceived as a skank. I lovethe skanks. We need some proper vulnerable lost girls this year, that can be mispercieved by vicious voters. Jade isn't it. And the bimbos are just dyed blonde novelty acts. Bring on the real skanks!

Didn't Jo also have a boyfriend at the time?
it was funny her getting 86% of the votes lol

I thought she was perfectly fine, and actually quite liked her but she was also up against two strong faves at the time being Regina and Dan, so she was simply seen as the main target to evict so the top faves could be saved.

Not in the same league. Jo was intelligent, successful, confident in herself; I remember Carmel originally introduced her as the alpha female of the house, though I think that role went to Chrissie in the end. Jade isn't any of those things.

I have a faint gloomy memory of hearing 'More Than Words' being warbled endlessly by the soppy troubadour Patrick and the fair but fickle Jo and a tuneless chorus of her other hapless swains.

and don't forget the soulful background singing of Saxon wailing "jjjoooooooooooooooo waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh", such sweet music.
