\What tha ?
No, I was simply offering up dramaqueen as proof of how far and involved a forum character / persona / sock puppet can be in being somebody they are not. Heck, they can even end up as a forum mod and get blog awards !
That a forum member going by the name of camerashy has posted thousands of time and been consistently involved in particular threads and even PM conversations is no proof of them really being anything like how these choose to portray themselves in here.
The sock puppet and prolific blogger and ex-BBBAU moderator known as dramaqueen was not who they chose to be and that person was far more involved in the internuts than the currently "gone private" camerashy.
Anyhoo, do any of you have any real proof at the moment that camerashy and, say, winterbourne are not the same person ?
Do any of you have any real proof that camerashy is even female ?!
Do any of you have anything other than an unhealthy dose of confirmation bias coupled with wishful thinking, for that matter ?

@Sweetgeek Look who is here !!!!!So much conspiracy
That's great you have formed friendships online on these forums with these people, and even more great that you have shared your life, pics of your son and your name. But just because I and other posters have not done the same does not man we cant feel a sense of loss for a prolific poster who we have become close to, even though names have not been swapped. If I can feel for human beings in a newspaper article, I can also feel for someone I have interacted with just the same. I read CS' reactions to situations and through that I saw how she thought and I liked the person she was through her posts. That is not an act, that is someone who displays a characteristic about themselves by their regards to another person. So whilst I don't know CS personally other than a poster, I can definitely say there was some sort of fellowship there. You don't need to know someone's name to feel compassion and kindness towards another human being.I would however go one step further, it doesn't strike my curiosity - I find it bonkers!
How can someone think they have a super special friendship with someone and yet not even know what their fucking name is?!
I mean seriously, have you been online so long you have forgotten how to function?
Each forum friendship I make is real, real names, real voices on the phone and when catching up, real facebook accounts, real lives.
This fixation on keeping your personal identities so secret squirrel while stalking friends and family members of housemates, only to throw everything you can find out about their real lives into the internet, is like the ultimate contradiction to me. Some posters in here won't even share their name, however if they find the ex girlfriends neighbour of a housemate - we have their fb, twitter and instagram account details for the forum and internet to see.
My name is Tracey and my nickname is Trala. If you are friends with me you know my life, have seen my son, have seen my partner, have shared in my life. That is what friendship is. Not the smoke and mirrors that comes with an internet persona.
And Uncle Bernie (Derspatz) is probably one of the most open and honest posters in here when it comes to persona vs personality. While there is no doubt he can be a cunt, at least we can be sure it is his personality, not an invented persona.
Nice to meet you Katie. Once you get past your initial dislike for me, I grow on you like herpes. While I remain irritating, you learn to live with me.

If you are going to spill your guts about having understanding for varying opinions then maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge others who don't have the same opinions on how they choose to function. You mock those that have a differing process to you by stating how you do things as if you are right in your thoughts, when the fact is, everyone goes about things differently. I don't sit there and judge you for your interests and your righteousness to point out to posters your way of behaving, but you feel the need to constantly point out your disapproval for posters but then claim for the world to be a better place we should have understanding to one another.
Maybe if you could look past the fact we are not your type of posters, you could see that us worrying about another poster is coming from a good place no matter how weird it seems to you that things are not done in your way
Prolific poster?
That doesn't make either of us right, it just means we have different takes on the topic.
And just to clarify. That I can agree on.

And just to clarify.
Worrying about a regular poster is not what we are talking about.
Classing someone as a super close friend while having no idea what there name is, or where they live, or what they do is what we are talking about.
Just seems you are blurring lines with your:-
I am not sure who this "we" and "us" is you are talking about, I was merely expanding on the notion where claims were made that CS is this super close friend to many in here and she is missing, and yet none of her close friends know her name or how to get in touch with her or even know for sure if she has a vagina. That to me is odd.
that's it for me in a nutshellI hope she's ok. Maybe we could tweet with her name as a hash tag and #bbau?
FwIW: I rarely ever let anyone know my real name. My job is serious and I don't ever want it to haunt me that I follow big brother. It's fun for me and I really love Australia because of this forum and this show, but until I'm ready to meet people IRL, I just prefer to maintain privacy.
I swap a lot of info about myself, but I have not put a name out there or personal information that makes me identifiable as a person, I don't think I will either. That's my personal choice. I believe CS would not give much about herself either because its their choice and their own personal decision.
And me.that's it for me in a nutshell

I am actually super curious about this.
Why would you not want share that sort of information with the people you interacting with so closely on a daily basis. I mean sharing a first name is the first step to a basic of basic relationships.
You appeared to be a very active member in the stalk thread in the off season and I can barely get my head around the fact you spend a good part of each day with these people for a whole year and yet share so little, not even a first name.
Why do think that is?
I like you as a poster and haven't a clue what your name is... cheers to thatAnd me.
Thank you for articulating so well @Sweetgeek.This place is a fun place for me, and while I was at work, it was my getaway, but it's not my real life, with real proper interactions, but yet I still feel worry for an unknown person online as strange as that sounds.
I may not have shared my name, but these people found out a lot of other things about me. So it did become personal. Just like people call a help line just to talk but want to remain anonymous. Sometimes talking to a stranger is more therapeutic, well for me staying unknown and still expressing myself gives me a sense of anonymity and freedom without being identifiable. Yes you think it's crazy, but for me I prefer it this way.
Plus I call it boredom and an obsession with bb.
