On the face of it, yes. I am speculating he knows that he can't win... such an entry would draw the public's attention which in turn would want to make the public watch him... I think it is self-evident that he'll be given plenty of airtime at first and if he indeed pulls off a couple of upsets, he will have redeemed himself. The public is fickle, remember what happened in Rome. Give them bread and games and they'll worship you for it. :)

Haha I don't know anything about Rome but I like your theory. It seems like most people prefer Nathan now for some reason. I hope Justynn stays - I'd like to see him as a friend and competitor to Tim.

You know nothing about Rome - ancient Rome?!? You may accompany me when I next travel back in time to visit my good friend Caligula. To give you a taste: Recalcitrant misfits such as our Messiah Tim-Tam would be stuffed into a sack of rough cloth together with a rabid dog, a schizoid cat and a highly strung rooster and then thrown into the Tiber... oh, the good old days :cool:

Apologies (pong) - didn't mean to offend - because I think Justynn (a tree person) - is interesting and will bring good vibes to the house - I think Nathan is too much of an attention seeker - he said he was a game show host - (trivial pursuit)

Liking Justynn at the moment. I expected more positive opinions on him on this site but anyways... I'm not sure what he means when he says that he doesn't wax his chest or whatever because men are meant to have hair and all this stuff because it looks like his chest IS waxed from the photos on the live updates on the OS. :confused:

I really think that the wax and all the other macho-sounding stuff is there purely for provocation. It's a kind of a 'profile building' as unusal as it may sound. If he is as smart as I hope, he'll be aware that the audience will take great interest in him for his macho talk alone. This is how you play the audience. The harder you jump into their faces, the more they hate or love you. Whether it's love or hate in the end, will be decided by the thespian alone.
 
not liking or disliking him right now. I'm keen for him to stir the pot, but it may be the typical all talk no walk. Other than that, he appears to be overdoing it with the acting. It may genuinely be what is like in real life but its coming off as fake to me. Guess we'll see more of him tonight! :)
 
Disappointed that everyone seems to be down on Justynn bar a few people here. Yeah, he may be a fake, a fraud, an actor, but looking at the live feeds it seems like he will stir the pot a bit.

Nathan seems like a nice bloke, but it looks like he's just another gay dude with the same shtick and will fall into the housemate cliques easily, which is boring. The last few weeks have been pretty lackluster, everyone has fallen into place and nothing is going on. Even Tim has fallen from grace. We need someone to kickstart the house again.

He looks like a serial killer... I like that in a housemate!

I hope he kills one of the sugar sister first, just to shake things up.

I agree! I reckon Justynn will be great and cause some trouble and Nathan will just be everyone's friend and make it boring.

his introduction vid and onstage interview did him no favours.

my initial reaction was 'oh god what a wanker' but judging from what i've seen in the live feeds he's toned that nonsense down quite a bit and seems like a genuinely interesting character.

i hope he stays
 
I like Justynn. Good human eyes. He's as hairy as a huntsman spider, which makes a nice change from all those waxed people. He's got a bit of natural body odour, allegedly. Bring it on! I think he'd be more trouble, and I hope the public who vote on jump-in apps recognize this. Nathan was all right, too. I wish we could keep both of them.

I also think the fact that he's an actor that they've selected to play a role makes him seem worse than he really is. It's very possible they told him to play the part of the sexist pig in his intro video but that's not really what he's into.

I agree with this so much, even in nathans opening video he seemed biased towards ben and the sugar sisters clique. Really hope Justynn stays to cause some trouble.
 
I'm not liking him much simply because of his comment that what women should be doing is cooking, cleaning, ironing etc. Apart from that he's an interesting fellow who seems a little superficial at the moment.
 
I am really liking Justynn a lot. He said he intended to stir the pot and has been true to his word. Good on him for not being boring.
