Interview Questions!

@Luke Blundell Have you thought of interviewing some of the crew members closer to the end of this BB series, if their contract allows it?

E.g. what about an interview with the trio of BB voices (Deputy BB's Leon Murray, Peter Dempsey and the new guy) as a collective, with questions including:
  • what was/were the craziest DR request(s) by housemates,
  • the longest they've made housemates wait to enter the DR this year (and who was it if it adds to the interest),
  • whether they go home and watch the edited show or not, etc.
Perhaps even what the most interesting prank was from their point of view (e.g. David/Jason's fake web Q&A ... there's probably others we have not seen in the show that they have seen?). Things that might be interesting that don't breach the rules of DR confidentiality of their contracts* (*unless it gets put into the tv show of course...)

The BB voices are 100% at the top of my list, I will try get another interview with Alex, hopefully a sit down interview with him this time, but the BB voices would be an amazing interview!

Thanks for your suggestion!!! :)

So I re read what you said @Kaz . And I apologise that you took offence to what I said. If you or anyone on this forum ever have any constructive criticism or advice feel free to inbox me or if you do want it on the public forum have a conversation with me :) be constructive but talk like we're adults . I feel Kaz with what you said especially at the end about think of your own questions, it just felt very school yard stuff, like you crossed your arms and had a tantrum. I'm a strong person and love advice, 2 days into being on this forum someone inboxed me and said about 10 things I could change to be better. I loved it! I'll awlays take it in and I'm all about learning and growing. I'm always up for having a chat if any of you guys have a problem, advice or a question :)

Word of warning. The poster you are responding to hates constructive criticism when it is directed at her...

You keep going along these lines you will find yourself the subject of one of Kaz's infamous sledging group PM's!!

Love the Sam interview, he is much more likeable one on one. You are doing a good job with the tough questions. I appreciated that he answered honestly and didn't make excuses. He really let everyone know what he thinks of Cat and Lawson.

I don't think he has been out long enough to make predictions though. It must be impossible when you've first come out of the house because they have no idea what's been shown.

Another great job!

Great interview. Reinforces why we need live feeds to get a more accurate picture of what is going on. You got the best out of him and while I wasn't a Sam fan in the house he seems really likeable and genuine. LOVING these, thank you![DOUBLEPOST=1413517404][/DOUBLEPOST]
I think Sam has been your best one yet!

I think we've got more inside info from him than any of the other evictees

It was really good. Made me wish he was still in the house! And I wasn't a fan!

These interviews make me realise that IF we did have live streaming, live feeds we would have very, very different opinions and favourites.

Though, Katie and Jake's interviews didn't sway me.. But Lisa and Sam's interviews definitely showed me different sides that I really liked. It's a shame.

He is a bit of a serious cookie and that's why he came across a bit vanilla in the limited and short-cut interviews with both Sonia and Ben on Scoopla.

However, once again @Luke Blundell - this was a fantastic interview, well done. Your style really brings out good information and like I have said previously, the housemates obviously warm to you quickly and that brings out a relaxed atmosphere and open to answering questions in a detailed way.

I had a bit of a laugh when he said "incarceration" of Johnny Cash (referring to Ryan)

Thanks for asking him about the parrot. So it does have wires and a speaker - but no talky talky yet. I wonder what Alex Mav is waiting for?

Thank you thank you thank you thank you :) to everyone who has commented, I certainly found this interview more relaxing, its the same with a lot of the housemates I'm interviewing, i wasn't a fan of their character inside the house, but on the outside, I think they are all amazing people. @bleachy_dude that was very surprising, i wonder why they haven't used it yet?

Thanks for the support guys!

Oh and yes. Heaps fascinating to hear of Marinara's lies. Wow.

I kinda feel like with the Marina thing about Russian I understand. Language acquisition is tricky and although I consider myself fluent in French (lived in Switzerland as a child) sometimes I find it hard to express myself unless I am back in Switzerland. Like, I speak English full-time you know? I barely speak French anymore now that I live out of home.

And some of the nicer hotels in Thailand air Australian TV anyway, plus you can pirate episodes easily. I dunno. Felt uneasy about Sam brandishing her as a liar when he barely knows her. Ironic that he thought it was bad she was judging Sandra after a day when he was doing the exact same thing in reverse.

Anyway, Luke! Good job as always man!! I really look forward to your interviews. There was a couple of times with Sam that I'd wish you'd pushed back a bit though. Like with the Aisha thing when he was rubbishing her being upset or hurt about the spa treatment. I was hoping you would make a case for Aisha and see how he responded ("She was saying, and it appeared that, you were being slightly aggressive in the way you were massaging and she clearly said she didn't feel comfortable - how would you respond to that?"). With questions that are about controversial moments in the house I'd love you to dig a little bit deeper. It's kinda like debating - the HM gives you their response and then you rebut with how other people saw it and see what they come up with.

Overall though nice job. Just don't let those HMs off to easy! Especially if it's Sandra or Ryan next week (likely!)

Haha thanks mate!

I'll see what I can do, I agreed with Sam though ;) I thought it was a bit of fun! ;)

But note taken ;)

Luke, you should try and get a Q+A with Gretel Kileen, as well as Kyle & Jackie O!!!

I'm surprised @Luke Blundell you expressed publicly how you felt about certain housemates. I understand just like any of us you as a fan have your own opinions, likes and dislikes. Do you think though as someone who is planning to interview them you should share with the public what you think as a fan? I find when some radio commentators do this it doesn't allow for impartiality.

I honestly can't see a problem at all with what he said. It's not a political interview. This is Big Brother. The show is designed for us to form and express our opinions based on their attitudes and actions in the house.

He is allowed his own opinion. Luke is real with them in his interviews. We need more people with opinions and willing to get opinions back. We've got our fill of puff piece journalists who toe the line.

Sometimes the 'impartiality' by the media interviews means the interviews are boring and predictable. Luke is on a different medium, YouTube changes the game and in turn gives us what I would call some of the BEST post-eviction interviews we have EVER had.
