Dermott did hear what they said, as he turned around in their direction.

I've tried to give those Gogglebox girls a chance, but they keep doing things that do them no favours at all.
Tonight Angie, Natasha and Justine were bitching about Justin (of course), and spelling out why they wouldn't sleep with him (and how they'd rather Dermott or an animal).
Why is it ok for some women to speak about men like that, but if the shoe was on the other foot there would be an outcry?
 
I dunno, it seems natural to me that his gran would raise it with his mother first before saying anything to him. She’s probably just trying to find out so she can do the right thing by him.

But there could be a lot more to the story, we didn’t get to far into it.

I'm yet to see last nights ep, so I'll then know what he was up to.
Going back to the Goggle Box girls, I don't think them going into the Jungle will have done a lot for them personally. They're funny on Goggle Box, but aren't coming over as "nice" on this show.
It'll be interesting to see what's said about them by the other Goggle Boxers when that starts next week (?), as they're bound to be watching I'm A Celeb.

I have no idea what Dermott got up to last night as I came in around 2045. I was referring to his past as a footballer and lad around town.
 
Dermott didn't get up to anything on last night's show, or at ;least not anything to do with his reputation. He and Shane had a fake challenge where they had to go on a safari and eat, then cover themselves in mud and convince the others that they'd undergone a brutal challenge. By succeeding that they all got more food & drinks.

I imagine Dermott was just a bot of a womaniser, but nothing extreme compared to the other creeps in the football world.

I don't know if the Goggleboxers act like they know each other on the show. I don't think they've ever referred to another family, or that they themselves are on a tv show. They've met each other in real life at awards ceremonies, so maybe when watching I'm A Celeb someone may say "I know those girls", but I don't see how they could acknowledge that they are on a tv show without acknowledging that they themselves are, which they never do. Maybe they will break the 4th wall though, that would be interesting.

Ahhh, that's a point - but then in saying that, wouldn't they have watched the show (Goggle Box) themselves and at least seen who the other families are - maybe?

Yes that is true, they would certainly know who the other families are even if they haven't met them.
I'd like to see Goggle Box review Goggle Box.

I didn't know they had meet ups.
Goggle Box reviewing Goggle Box would be quite funny.
I don't know if any of you have watched Come Dine With Me UK, but the guy who narrates it is so funny, and makes dead sarcastic remarks about the contestants, which obviously are added after filming. I'd LOVE to see them do a remake of the eps with a bit in the corner where the contestants watch it and we can see their reactions to his comments. Hysterical 😅
I think we've/I've gone slightly off topic here!
 
What has, Natasha, Angie & Tahir done, to warrant being in the jungle.

So far they are boring.

Shane is like the naughty boy, always playing pranks but that will become boring.

The story Dermott & Shane came up with about the challenge was funny.

I can understand Justin getting annoyed last night about his story re his gran.

Justin was talking to Richard & Miss Nosey Parker Angie, butted in & started talking about her gran etc & telling Justin how he should speak to his gran.

IMO: Richard & Angie were trying to make Justin come out & say he was gay, so he stopped the talk in it's tracks.

Yes, they were cornering Justin and hoping to force him to come out, as were the producers.
Angie also had to make it all about her with her "gay man in a straight woman's body" comment.
 
Cant put my finger exactly on it but this season isnt doing it for me. Normally I find the success of the show largely dependent on the cast and their interactions. And I have no real complaint about the cast. It just feels more forced and less natural. Like the producers are shadowing over everything with a heavy hand in coercing and manufacturing stories and situations.
Kinda like the devolving of BB.
 
Just watching last nights ep, argh! Doesn't Justin know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, let alone skin deep. His self love is driving me insane!
Or has he got a sarcastic, cynical side I'm not getting?

We aren't shown the interactions this year.

When Sam was interviewed after being booted, he said Dermott was funny, caring, good listener etc etc.
