Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2019) - Episode Discussion

Tahir is a dickhead. "Seven seconds is plenty of time to answer a question". Not when you're hurtling towards the edge of a cliff and it isn't.
Richard seemed genuinely traumatised, I wonder where that sits in their Duty Of Care.

Pretty sure Tahir was joking around with his remarks about the task being easy.

Thank goodness for my catch up reading here. I've been recording this and watching it the next day to do away with the ads.
I'm looking forward to seeing Brook going in.

I read on Facebook, that a snake ate the baby birds. 😭

Fark!

Apparently there is footage of it online (why anyone in their right mind would want to watch that I have no idea and why would they upload it??)

People say it's the law of the jungle but fark that these birds were being monitored. I hope their wasn't someone on production watching over this as it was happening live and they didn't intervene. I'm not going to watch the video so I don't know if this happened in working hours or not. If it was the birds should have been saved. This isn't a David Attenborough type show for god sake where they just roll the camera and watch animals killing each other. I friggin' hate those shows. Those 3 baby birds lives are forever gone. 😥

Just watching last nights ep right now. That bath thing looks terrifying. I can only assume they had engineers making sure that wasn't gong to fail.
There's no way on God's earth I could have done that ... mind you, in saying that, I don't think there'd be anything I would be willing to do! I am NOT a thrill seeker!

10 and all the TV/movie people who traipse through other countries are generally under very strict RULES and LAWS regarding what they can do with creatures.
Given the concept of this show, I would expect they must actually purchase a lot of the critters they use and be under very explicit contracts
They would certainly have to pay for the elephant guest appearance, etc.
Touching any real wildlife I expect would be a big no,no,no..........interesting when you consider how they must arrange this kind of stuff
Survivor got in real shit for removing something from I think Great Barrier reef and taking it to camp during the one they filmed here
