I love the wildlife. As for insect getting stepped on I feel like it happens all the time.

I regularly smash rogue cockroaches that seemed to have gotten inside to pieces. Are y’all like completely buddhist or something?

There's a bit of a difference though between a filthy house cockroach and a relatively rare Madagascan Giant Hissing Cockroach. Or a probably zoo-raised well-mannered python that has to suffer the indignity of being poked by a z-list Australian celebrity.

They are not just stepped on, but left there to die, and that is not necessary for a game show. You don't have to be Buddhist to have a heart for living creatures.

Do we know that they are left there to die, through someone having observed such, or is that conjecture?

My gut feel is that they would have specialists on site to handle the maintenance, supply as well as removal of the creatures used, but maybe I am missing something?. Personally I do enjoy seeing these celebrities getting frightened by these creatures, it’s something that I find I can identify with as Im terrified of bugs & spiders. lol

They said they dropped 500 cockroaches on them, so I am pretty sure they are not going to humanly kill them when they are half dead.
I am also terrified of any bugs touching me, if one dropped on me I would scream for sure, but I don't like them to be use for fun, IMO it is cruel
