New Years Eve, I was getting ready to go to bed. Our visitors were in bed, my partner was clearing things away. I was shutting down my laptop, when, whoosh! This thing darted across my keyboard, right in front of my fingers and leapt off the sofa and onto the floor.
If I was a dog, I'd be a Pointer!
I just yelled, Huntsman! And pointed at it.
My partner, even in his pissedness at that time, got it, and put it outside.
Me in my pissedness, didn't have a heartattack, was just grateful I was pissed, and went to bed!

Funny how we are. Im not a fan of cockroaches but I love Christmas beetles.
We get millipedes in. We pick them up and put them out. They are so cute with all those wee legs and feet!

Only just watching tonight's episode. Just heard Deni Hines give "advice" about the three month marriage. Seriously, shut the fuck up!

I really can't understand how national treasure, most lovely woman who ever existed, Marcia Hines, raised such a nasty piece of work.
 
Havent read the thread yet, but why have they changed the format so much! Lack of funding to have Julia and Robert at all the things? They've lost the suspense. I found the first episode a real drag! And the second and third havent been much better.

I like the cast, but all the goss is out before I care about any of them. The men are all a bit sooky already. The elephant graveyard is a total bore. Im usually glued to the end of the episode, but not this time. Which is very out of character for me! I always wanted 24/7 cameras in the jungle, but now it seems there is not much to see. "Pressure Point" must have had to be there...

A few in the cast who are doing all the heavy lifting, they are going to run out of steam soon.

Julia isnt as well dressed as previous years, is she wearing pyjamas? Has she lost her oomph or is it a lack of chemistry with Robert? Dont get me wrong, Robert has stepped into the role really well, and I usually like Julia on this show, but this is off to a poor start, when its usually full of enthusiasm. I cant pinpoint, but its just not got the pace of previous seasons.
 
Admittedly I haven’t properly watched the show in many, many years and I actually had zero intention of watching this season either. But I’ve ended up sitting through all three episodes so far. And, to be honest, I’m finding it a hell of a lot more enjoyable, engaging, genuine and better produced than the entirety of BBAU 2025. So there’s that.

The likeable characters who are actually somewhat famous are a big step in the right direction.

Though I do admit, I have absolutely zero sympathy for the Essendon drug cheat 💉
 
I haven't watched any episodes so far.

I think I am all Robert out. He seemed to be everywhere. (the opening of a soft drink, he was there, opening of a door, there he was. Lurking in the background was Terri & sometimes Bindi)

Also the pre taped part is a bummer, we don't get to decide who goes & who stays.
 
I have been enjoying it more this season than last.
Might still jump ship when MAFS comes on, but I'll still be watching the recordings.
 
They're advertising that there are Brady Bunch Shock Revelations tonight.

What, that they were all fucking? We all already knew that 🤷
