How did Tahan get double votes than Ben & Timmy?

This is not a stoush. Though despite your superior education, maybe, just maybe I can teach you something you weren't aware of.

You Tanal are NOT the only individual in this country whose first language is not English. Nor are you the only one who is learning a third language. But here I must digress. The motivation to study foreign languages IMO should not be "education => degrees" as you put it, but sincere interest in cultures and peoples other than our own.

I don't know if you had the opportunity on one of your overseas trips to discover that the only way to understand even the basics of foreign cultures is not through guidebooks, but through the study of their language.

Finally, I know people in my neighbourhood who are fluent in four languages and pretty handy in half a dozen more. Affinity is the motivation, not academic pursuit.

Those have been my observations as well. I like your reference to the Thesaurus - didn't see that one coming. The 'English Teacher' has given most of us a lot of speculation I think is fair to say...
I am so over those claims of ANY HM regarding their occupations. I could, if I tried very hard see Mikk in some sort of classroom helping out the real teacher. Mikk's pronunciation of English is dreadful. Do we really need English teachers of such poor standards in our schools?

English is not my first language either. And I'm working on my 4th/5th language: Japanese.

I fight HARD. I begin my disarming my enemies. Then I play them a recording of Ed mumbling and Mikkayla laughing. This, of course, makes their ears explode and they run off, terrified that I will expose them to more horrendous noises. They never cross me again. It works every time.

There you go, you are to be commended for your effort. What with the three different alphabets, Hiragana, Katakana and then comes the real tough part, the Chinese characters. Can't remember know but apparently you need to know at least 300 of the Chinese characters to be regarded as being fluent in Japanese.
A bit of trivia you might be interested in:

The Japanese word for bread is pan - the Portuguese word for bread is pão. Prior to the arrival of the Portuguese in Japan there was no bread.

One word we all no in Japanese is Arigato! Thank you.
The Portuguese word for Thank you is Obrigado!

Yes thanks again, that's so cool... poor Boog looks a bit trepidatious - I really like her, she is so real... Mikkayla on the other hand looks almost worried at times, happy she looks not. I wonder if the two wardens have power over how much each individual is allowed to eat... hahahahahaha
