How did Ed survive the eviction ??

Three syllables come to mind... "Terri 08". Don't think we have seen the last of Ben. I'm just glad I have plenty of
cough drops cause they are gonna cram him down our throats for at least the next 2 shows.

Alex has probably shat himself and is probably pulling a Tully in the toilet. Wonder if that is what is holding up live feed?

I don't think so. I mean the % were so close, who would have batted an eyelid if they said Ed was the evictee?

I think the answer is pretty obvious...

Its channel nines fault. They must have known there was a chance that Ben was going to go.
At one point the host said no more votes and then later they said they were still taking votes.

What Nine needed to do was place the faces next to the percentages. Then the public would have saved Ben and Ed would have gone home.

About time they started showing the name and percentages like they do in the final 3.

Rating swill now fall off for Nine. If Nine is smart they will get Ben in for a preview show or even have an up late show with Ben to bring in the ratings and the advertising dollars.

No way! I disagree! Showing the audience the faces is pointless! I hate it when they do that!

I actually think ratings will increase now. I'd lost interest the past 2 weeks because it seemed like a formality that Ben would win but now with Ben gone the race is wide open again and I've regained interest :).

I'm with you, the predictability has gone and with Tim not drawing an enormous percentage tonight it's anyone's game. May the best man/woman win!!!

Basically the same amount of viewers that were voting from the start, would still make up the majority of voters now. So why after all this time, would Tim & Ben [two of the most popular HM's] be on the same percentage as Ed. When it is clear, going by the posts on this website, chat on twitter etc that Ed is clearly the least liked HM out of those 3 (ie: Tim/Ben/Ed) Something dodgy going on, even heard a lot of people wasn't able to vote to save Ben.

Be interesting to watch how this unfolds.

I also voted a fair bit for tim with no confirmation text
You get one confirmation text per voting period ie a week. If you vote more than once you won't get a text each time.

Shackles, you know that also as it's been explained repeatedly on here and on Facebook (which is where most people cry rigged each week when their favourite gets booted).

Ratings will decrease as much as they did when everyone said they would when Tully left aka NONE. Daily in the Live Feed threads there were many of us who steadfastly skipped over vids focused on Ben talking to his pictures or muted our tvs when he'd pull the crying and I have nothing to go back to schtick again. I'm sure most of the people still in the house would love to own their own apartment and have a tonne of friends willing to start up a support page for them. Guy has more than many people will ever dream to have, even if he doesn't appreciate it and takes it for granted.

Tully's already a faded memory as will Ben be in a week or two. His leaving will have no bearing on the ratings of the show as he simply didn't contribute much to the house.

It wouldn't be the first time that their system has stuffed up. Going back a few seasons when it was on 10 when Trev won the $1m prize money a lady forget her name now was voted out and later it was found that it was and error and I think it was Wesley was the one that should have gone. The girl end up coming back into game and making it to the final.

Nine needs to put the percentages next to the contestants to keep the better players in the game and keep their ratings up.

I'm of the opinion Ben was set up. He said on stage he wasn't a comedian. If he's not lying then someone put it out there that
he was a comedian to show him up. If that turns out to be the case then someone will be in hot water over it.

Someone is lying then. There are ads, show reviews and posters online in unrelated web sites of at least one of his standup gigs.

I wonder if people started losing faith in Ben when all the rumors of his Stand up routine were posted around the net? As humans we like authenticity and as my friend always says..."I'd rather be stabbed in the front than the back, because then at least I have the opportunity to see it coming and defend myself"

Because he is a likable guy. Him and Maddie are the two nicest people in the house. I would have said Jade too, but she let herself down with the Tahan comment.

So, you don't think, that Alex would have been upset about Ben leaving? After the production edit Ben's got ALL season?

And I agree... NO ONE would have batted an eye if Ed was evicted, but that's not what happened. And yes, I believe we will have Ben residual as we had Tully residual (and yes antibiotics were needed during that production phase).

Tim is an overwhelming favorite to win now

I don't think the producers are that upset over Ben's eviction. They've kept Jade's BF, got rid of a (good but) boring housemate, and social media is crazy with discussion.

This also makes me wonder if complacency will have Tim be evicted at some point too. Getting the feeling that Tahan could win this now unfortunately.

No way Ed should have survived, I will eat my hat if the Producers do not change voting this week to vote to Evict, enough playing with the audience and trying to figure out who to save to evict the knobs we don't want to watch. It would have been landslide Ed if it was vote to evict (Ed's brother could not have spent enough $ trying to counter vote to evict votes). I would vote to evict Ed over Maddy & Boog after weeks of feeling sorry for My Lady Jadey I just can't watch her and Ed any more. BRING ON VOTE TO EVICT!
