Housemate #5 TULLY!

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I tried to have a quick look through the forums before going to bed soon but it seems like the "I hate Tully" Facebook page has been removed. I wonder if the admin had a change of heart after watching her eviction interview? I have to admit she seemed so normal and actually pleasant to talk to while on stage - if she had remained that way while in the house then she could have gone a lot further. Actually, to be honest, the only reason I noticed the page is missing is because I was going to unlike it. I don't think I truly hate her now that she's out of the house, she was just so infuriating to watch while on TV.

Still, kudos for trending worldwide twice. I wonder if she thought in that moment it was because she's a unique special snowflake with incredible empathy. I'll be keeping my eyes on the news tomorrow.

RIP

Trending on twitter because you publicly cheat on your partner, or have an epic meltdown, is not something to be proud of.

I don't get that. I thought that interview was infuriating.

Trending on twitter for being the most talked about housemate is something to be proud of. She did her job as a housemate well.

It isn't, but in her childlike mind she probably thought it was for positive reasons. But the kudos was in a way for bringing publicity to BBAU.

Trending on twitter for being the mos talked about hm, in her circumstances, is not something to be proud of.

I was never really a fan of Tully. I like Drew, and I did like Drew and Jade together and Tully was a barrier to that. However as I watch Jade degrade herself at the feet of the disingenuous Ed, and saw the (apparently) blossoming love between Tully and Drew, I just thought that people often don't get to choose when they fall in love, it just happens and sometimes others regrettably get hurt. I just appreciate the genuine emotion between the two without the judgment.

I think once the emotional hijacker stuff was out there, she was scrutinised and criticised for emotional behaviour that others were also exhibiting. Damned by reputation.

One thing I tend to do, is warm to the underdog, and I hate bullying and that is how the anti-Tully stuff started to feel. Something getting overly emotional is not a huge deal as annoying as it can be sometimes. It's not the same as bitchy remarks designed to hurt.

Anyway Tully fans, you've done well to hang in there. Can't have felt too popular of late.

Being talked about does not equal success when you have most likely ruined your personal and home life, public image and career prospects in the process. Go Tully! It's not like people were talking about her beauty, or smarts, or integrity, or game play. They were talking about how she is a cheater, a manipulator, a gossip, and a psycho.

Infamy can still be a good thing. I assume she wants/wanted to be famous, and she hasn't done any that bad that no one would hire her.

Yes it is. She gave people a reason to talk about her.

But it wasn't for good intentions. No matter how many times she trended, the reasons were not from a good place. I would not be proud of the fact that I was the most talked about hm for all the wrong reasons
