To be honest I don't think I had super-strong thoughts about any of the housemates last year as much as this year. Maybe I'm just getting old and forgetting lol

@Stellvadore: @beginnersblood you need to be aware of how artificial that environment truly is.Judgements are being passed but know its a false "reality"

Wow Estelle is still in a dream land :rolleyes: Tahlia knew about all this stuff before we saw it. Meaning it must have been a lot more than what we saw
 
apparently the others find it real enough to not hook up with anyone else and to show a little respect and restraint.
 
Not only that, Estelle tweeted "Drew is still the most adorable human. Such a genuine, gorgeous thoughtful guy"

And now Estelle is openly supporting Tully? Big diff here is that Tully 'thinks' everyone is picking on her...It is her reality that she is hard done by and a victim.

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet (I'm about to watch it) but I just wanted to say that even though Tully has done some things that are clearly wrong, we're not in her position and some of you would behave in the same way if you were in the house. She seems like the kind of person who relies heavily on having one person close to her, whether it be her (ex-)girlfriend, or Drew, or whoever. She has definitely taken her friendship with Drew way too far, but that doesn't mean she's worthless scum. Just try to be a bit understanding of the fact that it must be difficult for her to try to not get too close with people when they're the only people she's had any contact with for over a month.

So if you look at the lyrics, Tahlia is feeling the hurt. I strongly believe that BB needs to intervene in this Tully/Drew farse for the benefit of an innocent partner. She would not be able to escape the onslaught of people talking about it. Imagine that, and the cheating just goes on and on. It is NOT a friendly, mates relationship. Big Brother, is it worth the ratings if the backlash is out of your control? I think not.

So while I agree with you that she's hurt as it hasn't even been a week so who wouldn't be, I'm not sure if her retweeting is anything more than acknowledging what a fan has done for her and has nothing to do with the actual lyrics. I'd do the same in Tahlia's shoes whether the lyrics were accurate or not because it's extremely flattering... moreso as she's 'just' the partner of a reality show contestant.

I just think BB has a duty of care to the partner of one of their HM's. The fallout from this kind of thing should not be taken lightly.... I'd like to hear Tim Brunera's opinion.
