Housemate #5 TULLY!

Good point - I'd had a vague uneasiness about this (like the boys' club a while ago) but hadn't articulated it this clearly in my mind.
I was uneasy about the boys club as well, like I was with the Heidi, jasmine, ed group. I just look at what happened last year with Ben, Michael etc. groups suck and take away from the show I would prefer

After having trouble deciding whether I want the new happy Tully to stay or not, I've decided I want her gone. After seeing the update of Tim and Ed being sick of Drully, I want Tully gone so Tim can have fun with Drew again.

Caleb is going to be there too. Based on what both of them have said in and out of the house I don't think either of those two guys would travel the next suburb to support Tully let alone to the Gold Coast. They probably have more Dreamworld commitments now that it's school holidays. :)

Maybe they have brought them in as "bodyguards" for Tully when she is evicted, hahahaha

LOL! Regardless of how much Tully got on their nerves, I think both Matt and Caleb have good hearts and probably shocked at how serious the reaction to the situation is. I know they really thought she was being horrible, but i still dont think they would turn their backs if she was in need.

But im hoping its really for the two to be reunited and begin their bromance out of house...

I don't necessarily want Tully or Drew to stay the distance, but at least there is some character/plot development happening there at the moment. Hoping we might see some different dynamics this week as it seems the painful angsty part might be clearing and they have decided to just go with the developing "relationship" (in quotes for those who think it's bullshit).

i'm happiest to see the sisters go this week as I really can't see any surprises from them if they stay. I don't hate them but I hate seeing valuable screen time wasted on their blandness.
What character/plot development? That relationship is a drain on everything - the house & the viewers. How much more can it really develop. Best way to change things up is to get Tully out.

I wanted tully gone from a long time ago, but now I'm looking at the all the hm's in the house and to be honest I think tully going will be extremely hard for tahan. I think the girl group needs to be broken. If tully goes the girl group will dominate in that house and I have never liked when one group is at an advantage regardless if they are nice or not. Time to shift the dynamics by either the sugar sisters going however I won't be upset if tully goes either

I don't see how it will be hard for Tahan - she doesn't get much from Tully and anyway it's time for Tahan to change her tactics. I'd like to see her try something new.

I agree. What more development are we to hope for? They've now hit full blown loved up couple status this weekend. I can't see how anyone could consider it interesting to watch two people cuddle 24/7, regardless of who that couple is. I could understand the argument to keep her around for entertainment purposes when she was in meltdown mode although I didn't agree with it. But now? No way. The Drully arc has hit it's peak.

I get where you and others are coming from here, but personally I find the sisters a drain. It's become cliched but I do like the "social experiment" aspect of the show, it's really the only reason I watch. K&L just don't offer me much in that respect.

They give Ben too much support too, I think, they are his house MumandNana figures, laughing and cooing at everything and praising every breath he takes. I'd like to see him have to function without these maternal figures.

Same.

I would prefer her to stay because I don't mind her but I think it's for the best that she gets evicted. Too much hate

I'm not a fan of Tully's either, but do agree with Meewa's sentiments that with the upcoming addition of intruders and it getting closer to the finish that the dynamic of their relationship and Tully's behaviour adds an interesting aspect to the house.

All intruders create tension and change within the house initially, but these intruders are coming in with full knowledge of the outside backlash and the internal grumblings against the relationship. If she is still in, how will she introduce drew and herself to them? If she does engage herself with the intruders, how will they use or not use the advantage of their knowledge? How will she behave if drew develops a bromance with one of them? Also how will not only Tully and the house react if she is not evicted? Will Drew and Tully become more bold and open in their relationship or will the close shave make her think more of the outside world? Will the other housemates, such as Ed and Tim, change their strategy of speaking about the relationship if they perceive that the public like the relationship?

Yeah, this could be very interesting. I wonder if the intruders will tell Tully that she's been dumped.

Don't they keep intruders in lockdown once the show starts?

It has been stated on ads that these particular intruders are coming in with full knowledge. However, i think in previous years they were indeed kept in lockdown.

Wow that will make it extreeeeeemely interesting! I don't tend to see the ads as this is pretty much the only show I'm watching on the commercial networks at the moment.

That'd be amazing. Wonder if the housemates will be aware of this because the intruders may be drawn to the housemates that they know are popular outside the house.

Sam and Ava from last year weren't kept away until they entered the house. They knew about stuff before entering with Sonia asking their opinions on housemates before they even entered. I think I recall Sam saying he didn't know much as he usually worked at the time the show was on, and Ava kept listening to the crowd for answers, for whatever reason if I remember right and not saying much.

The only intruders who have known zilch about things before entering were the ones from the 2002 series (Kieran and Brodie) as they had them away in another house together with no contact to outside world before entering. Oh and then the series that had Demet, as she had to live in a white room before entering the house.

So if Tully is still in there, they would be aware of what has been happening with her girlfriend, etc unless they tuned out of it. Intruders are told not to tell the housemates any outside info but a few have slipped up at times over the years.

Yeah. I think you are right. I think I'm sold...

...but what if the sisters went? One last week of Tully and Drew? Or was this the peak, this little spring of happiness this week? Go out on a smile? Maybe. The twins are deadwood, but you may be right.

Hmm. seems I am 100% sure I am unsure what I want. Both. Either. But if the sisters, then Tully next.

Actually, Tully going would be a relief for everyone, wouldn't it? Cut your loses. Stitch in time etc.

Anyway, I was undecided, now I'm not so sure...

Yes, I think one more week for Tully would be fabulous... A few days for her to bring the claws out with the intruders and then GONE...

I think for Tahlia this is a blessing disguised as a horrorshow, and she can now proceed towards a life unburdened by this emotional parasite. And Drew should tread lightly for he is, to quote him, in over his head.
Maybe it is better in the long run that Tahlia saw Tully's true nature now and not five years later and isn't wasting any more of her life on Tully.

Relationships like Tully and Drew's tend to end the same way they start; one or both of the parties will end up cheating.
