Housemate #2 - Tahan

Tahan has been annoying me lately - she does have her good moments but then she goes and makes comments like 'I know that I'm better than them' in regards to Jade and the sisters...um, does she think that strategy alone will mean she wins? I wish we could show her the voting graphs to knock her down a few pegs. She thinks VERY highly of herself and its starting to annoy me.

I think its because she has a short fuse, meaning if you dont be honest and give her the time of day she will attack. Oh and i do believe her when it comes to the sugar sisters, they didnt even sit and play the truth chair game thingo the other night, they walked into the house while everyone played. Dodgy!

Lol, I think people want Saints in the house. Who is perfect?. Who hasn't bitch IRL? I like her, she is human just like anyone else.
 
Love Tahan. I can see that whereas some people dislike her for her toughness,( lack of empathy as some would describe it) directness and brashness and confidence , others like her for the same qualities and I am one of them. It amazes me that some call her bitchy and can overlook the others. To be honest all of them have bitched including the guys in the house. I reckon for the most part they all get along but the camera crew or editors tend to focus on the parts that would either arouse your emotions be it funny, sad, sentimental or just pure distaste.and this makes for good viewing controversial or not.

I agree. I like Tahan the best out of all the girls. She is a female version of Tim in many ways. Likes to have fun, can laugh at herself, she is not a sheep, she is smart, comfortable in her own skin. I wish BB would show more footage of her doing fun stuff.
 
Tahan is sometimes entertaining but I don't enjoy the way she says things like 'I can beat you' or 'I'm better than them'. You can't just say stuff like that.

Why ever not? It is all in the game right? You have to psyche yourself up. This Big Brother you're talking. Who can out last whom. The last man or woman standing wins. Tahan's game plan may not be sound but it is still her game plan.
 
Tahan is very open with her words, I don't think she is full of herself, she just says what she thinks, honesty seems to be her policy, be it good or bad the viewers will decide.
Each HM has their own personality and this is what brings entertainment to the show.
I would like to see more of Tahan and hope she will be saved yet again.

Yes please, Big Brother, more of Tahan please. Liked her from when she was in the halfway house. She was the one who complained the least and bonded with Caleb and Matthew from day one.
 
I want Tahan to stay this week. She has her moments but in all I find her beautiful, feisty, and interesting to watch. Definitely prefer her to stay over some others.
 
I love her friendship with Ben. She does genuinely care for him. I see them hanging out alot together esp the late night feast. She even helps bathe him. She may not be an emotional girl but she's still one helluva girl. I also noticed she doesn't spend alot of time complaining to Big Bro about her feelings in the Diary room. She has that kind of detachment and self confidence which viewers interpret as hard and unfeeling. She also isn't a touchy feely and clingy kind of girl and I can understand how and why she relates better to guys.

haha this is exactly what my son's fill in preschool teacher said about him a few weeks ago. He had told her she had smelly teeth because he caught the combo of ciggies and coffee on her breath. Considering I laughed my arse off at the time and had to admit he was indeed correct, you've just made me look at Tahan in a new light.

I'm sure Tahan is safe this week. :) Heidi and Tully are the ones in trouble, I think.
 
Love watching Tahan and I like that Caleb and Matt are more comfortable around her than with the others not because of her beauty but the person that she is. Caleb and Matt both treat her like a sister and that in itself says alot.
 
Can`t help but think Tahan gets an unnecessarily bad rap.

My take on the “I know for a fact that I'm better than them” clip, is that she was actually referring to being better than them in terms of not being fake, which is what the conversation was all about. She says that she doesn`t know how she is being conveyed to the public. She obviously doesn`t like fake people which she said in her profile before she even entered the house.

I just don`t buy that she`s a snooty, stuck up, full of herself bitch. I don`t know her from a bar of soap, but I did live for 10 years in rural Darwin and anyone born and raised in that part of the world is highly unlikely to have had a pampered and privileged upbringing.
Her relationship with Caleb and Matt also points to her being more down to earth than up herself. Do you really think those two guys would put up with that?

I feel, however, that her days are numbered. If the Heidi haters all vote for Tully and the Tully haters all vote for Heidi, she is in big trouble. There is no way she was ever going to win the thing, but I think she deserves to be in the final 3 or 4. If she gets a decent edit, maybe that might happen.

I agree that I personally wouldn't, but she's very honest. Some people appreciate that.

The way the "sugar sisters" tried to make a big deal over Tahan making pancakes for only Ben was absolutely hilarious. I think they knew exactly what they were doing. It wasn't her duty to make anyone food, not even Ben... but she still did it for him and somehow they tried to make it seem like she was being rude. All she said was that she was only making them for Ben. Why get offended over that? Furthermore, why go in assuming she's making you food particularly when you've had problems with her? They say they were asking for everyone else, but they seemed super keen to go and do it. Why not let one of the others do it if you're so "intimidated" by her? I see right through them. I'm glad some of the others have as well.

It was also funny to hear Lucy's "I would rather be smart and ugly than be a bitch and beautiful" comment. Who said anything about being a bitch? It was either intelligence or looks, not bitchiness. Normally I don't assume what someone says are a slight at someone else, but it clearly was a reference to Tahan. It's obvious in the way Lucy said it. I love how Caleb told Tahan he prefers her!

Also, it's really really amazing how threatened the girls are by her. Mikkayla, her "friend" (yeah, right) is so clearly feeling insecure due to Tahan, even Jade is. It's so sad that girls always turn on girls they find too pretty.
