Housemate #2 - Tahan

She's not shallow in that she has an opinion and she can be very vocal. She is also intuitive about people. Just because she hangs out with Matt and the other guys doesn't mean that she is shallow. She's just not an emotional kind of person and I can understand. You know she described herself perfectly at the beginning of the show. She values genuiness and I can see that she has a soft spot for Ben. She can't abide fake ness and frankly neither can I.
 
I love that Tahan is a strong person and she does fine on her own. She doesn't nee others around her. She never seems out of place. She has a good attitude about being nominated and always seems cheerful when it happens rather than mopey.

But .... she really can be mean and hateful and quite the bully. She hates the sugar sisters for no real reason. Even if they're annoying or dumb, they are not hurting anybody or doing mean things. She basically bullies them and talks about them because she just doens't like them. She calls them dumb and says rude things to Mikki. It's great to be honest and say what's on your mind, but a person should also be tactful and respect that other people have feelings. She doesn't seem to give a care about their feelings at all. She seems to think since she is a strong person who can take it then other people should be exactly the same as her or else they suck.

So she has great qualities and some not so great ones.

Well said! The girl has a few good qualities but her bitchiness and lack of tact overrule them, I think.

The sugar sisters have lied about Tahan. They are not as nice as I thought.

Tahan is not perfect but IMO she is one of the best people in the house. She is smart, she loves to laugh, she resilient, she is full of life and she is beautiful. She is soooooo much more than Tim for ex.

Tim is infinitely smarter and more perceptive than Tahan.
 
I still find Tahan much more enjoyable to watch than some others so hopefully she doesn't go this week.

I find it hard to appreciate Tahan I'm afraid - she comes across as a bitch and I can't stand bitches!

Yes she definitely has an opinion and isn't backward in voicing it....constantly.
But I find her opinions shallow.
 
Talking about Bitches, the whole lot of them are bitches to be honest. I know Tahan can be a bitch but not more so than others. She's way more direct whereas others do their bitChing behind. The new mean girls I say should be Mikkayla and gang. What I can't comprehend is Mikkayla talking about her sex life, doing it for 2 hrs in the bathroom in a friend's house. Doesn't she know that the whole world is listening in ? or perhaps she has some self issues. I bet Tahan has a colourful life and great exposure from her career choice and stuff. I haven't heard her brag about any of her glamorous life. She seems very much comfortable in her own skin and like everyone else she wants to look good even though she doesn't need doing up. I wouldn't say Tim is more intelligent than Tahan ,he is more streetwise and is much older and that makes alot of difference. I think if it were not for the hair dryer incidences, they could have been besties. Unfortunately it is what Big Bro set out to do, cause dischord.
 
Yep, empty vessels make most sound. So are you telling me Heidi, Tim and Mikkayla are empty vessels? Because you hear them the most amongst the housemates and in the diary room. It is just a saying and holds no water in the context you mean.
 
I liked Mikkayla but she is trying for this underdog role and she is no Estelle. Still she is one of the bigger characters and I'd rather others like the sisters, Ben and Ed go first. The sisters going would obviously improve things a lot for Tahan. Tahan has probably been up nearly as many times as Mikkayla so she is just as much an underdog.

Why exactly are you condemning Mikkalya for talking about something all adults talk about? And if BB aired footage of Tahan speaking about her and her bf's sex life in next week's LNF will you speculate about her "self issues" too? Somehow I doubt it. Jesus christ you people are funny.

Well, thank you for the compliment. You talk about your personal life esp. Sex in confidence with those close to you. She's a secondary school teacher for heaven's sakes. If she does not go back to teaching in schools, good for her. Whatever, she has an audience. Call it idiotic, if you like but not so if you have to go back to teaching in schools, teaching adults maybe.

The pancake thing? That was after Tahan had already been harassing them. And Tahan was making a big deal about the pancakes. I think they just want to not be harassed anymore.

Yeah, Tahan has good qualities. But she's also a bully and a bad friend who just drops friends then tells everybody they're stupid. One thing I hate most in the world is people who are friend with you then suddenly stop and turn rude when you've done nothing to them. They just come up with reasons not to like you and you're left thinking "Okay, sorry I annoyed you with my friendship." This is something girls seem to do more than guys; find ways not to like people who like them and then turn on them.

Tact and manners are extremely important qualities to have. People should value them much more than they do. I don't care how much somebody laughs and is beautiful if they are a mean b-word. Not caring about others feelings is REALLY bad. Tahan is like a spoiled 9 year old who never learned manners and never learned to put yourself in somebody ele's shoes. When I watch her I can't think of her as an adult because she doesn't act like one.
 
I know Tahan can be con-seeded and a little bitchy but for some reason i still like this girl.

I think its because she has a short fuse, meaning if you dont be honest and give her the time of day she will attack. Oh and i do believe her when it comes to the sugar sisters, they didnt even sit and play the truth chair game thingo the other night, they walked into the house while everyone played. Dodgy!
