She is a bitch and I dont see the problem with coasting. It helped her in not getting nominated in the last two weeks. Yeah, but why has her popularity surged in this period? I totally get keeping your head down, but being uninteresting is something else. As I said, I don't dislike her, just can't see why people have her as such an odds-on favourite.
I dont expect her to tell Jade anything as they are not close. It is that she takes such pride in being 'honest,' and then hasn't said anything all along, and still doesn't say what she thinks about Jaded... I don't see how it gels with her perceived image. I have no probs with someone not saying something to someone they aren't close to, but she, and her fans, trumpet her as the honest boice dishing out the hard truths... and she just isn't.
If you base intelligence based on processing puns, there would be many more people who dont understand. She probably isnt as intelligent as Tim who is 5yrs older or Drew who is very articulate but it doesnt mean she is stupid. The pun thing was just an example, but these last few days more things to have slipped by her when they are all talking. Even not picking up on the way the eggs were received in the LF today- maybe she is more self-absorbed, and doesn't notice nuance of meaning that others are trying to convey. She can be really funny herself, and was delightful when giggling at Ben's 'I cut him' story, but Trick or Treat showed her a bit dumb - not the videos, but the actual show, I thought. I am not saying she is stupid because she is not as intelligent as the most intelligent in there, because, by definition no one is, but she has seemed a bit dim... and it is only this week I started thinking this. I think the pun thing was the first time I noticed, then started looking for it.
Whether she is funny as Boog is debatable, some refer her as toilet humour and wouldnt classify that as funny at all I don't find Boogs's toilet humour funny at all. I is her way with words, and of using that ocker persona, like Caleb did, that I find amusing. Boogs recognises a nice turn of phrase, whether her own, or from Drew, in a way that Tahan just doesn't. Tahan is funny in the way Kat from Survivor is - I cannot believe she is so un-self-aware to have aid that, and to honestly believe it. With Kat, it is because she is very, very dumb; with Tahan, it is more based on conceitedness. But like Ja'ime, I suppose.
She has done some mean things but she has cut them out as the show has gone on. She owns what she does. She has gone quiet but that is no reason to dislike her. I dont think its fake because her enemies are gone. Fair enough. I don't dislike her, I just am not liking her, actively, I guess.
Drew. Guy is the smartest there. Provides great insight to HMs and has been loyal to those around him. Was terrible when Tully was there and brought nothing to the show. He has done his fair share of bitching but he doesnt act like hes high and mighty. I like him. Yeah, I like him too, and agree about the Tully thing. Drew for the win, but overall, great top 5. Great top 5,
but she needs to be remembered right now and have the same passionate voting that was happening before, with the silent treatment, fans can lose interest.
