No - Jade hasn't been unfairly treated by BB. I would even go as far to say that BB has treated her better than some of the other HM's. The storyline BB created for her with Drew. Messages from her father in Italian. Her birthday party. Surly giving her tips. Date in the GoE with Ed.
When Jade was hanging with Tim and Drew she was fun.
Now that she has glued herself to Ed she really has become insipid.
Think when Jade finally comes out of the BB house she look back and think of all the things she should have done different.

Agreed [MENTION=19123]aragon[/MENTION] if anything, BB has treated her a little better. I remember thinking how nice it was of BB to go out of his way and do the whole Italian thing for her. And setting her up with a stud like drew equals instant popularity. She had it all going on in the beginning

Ditto, she isn't capable of causing anything. She's just background scenery at this stage. All her fans are just pissed off she's losing.
I think the girls needs to eat more, she's so lethargic - and I know I starved myself at that age and she does exhibit all the signs of too little calories, makes you dumber and tired.

This is side tracking from the discussion of this thread but I don't see tahan getting storylines to get viewing time. She is part of a storyline, but not centred with it. IMO jade gets quite a bit and I do think it comes back to viewing distribution of all hm's

That was a long time ago. I agree the producers liked her at the beginning. It wasn't her fault she wasn't into Drew... I think alot of viewers were shocked she didn't fall head over heels for him, given he's so pretty... but BB got 2for1 with Drully and Jaded.
I think her character, rulebooky is getting up BB's schnoz. She's openly cynical about the show and running the show down. They must be seething in the production office.
In any regard BB's motive is primarily ad revenue so whatever rates whether it be Tully or Tahan. They'll flog what they can pushup ratings and site traffic. If that means sacrificing Tim, who's a bit flat recently due to Boog, then they'll do it.
Yes! Thank you. I'm sorry but I just feel the need to say that hating on someone for not falling for a complete stranger that she was forced to pretend to be married to is completely irrational.
Yes, BB might have given her a leg-up with that at the start...but that was a very long time ago. Nobody wants her to be a favourite FFS, but treating her the same as the others would be nice.

also didn't jade etc put in basically nothing when they had to give up their personal items? Seems like if BB was picking on her he would have made her give up something more than a stuffed toy (that he gave her) and a skirt....

At the beginning... sure. She must have been a real find, given her previous reality experience, international modelling career (reminds me of The Body in her early days), kind nature etc.
But the introverts always get a bashing in the end on these types of shows. You can be a dumbass, ignorant dickhead extrovert and that's perceived as entertaining.
I mean I love comedy and really enjoy Boog only for her slapstick. She hasn't fallen over or run into a wall in a while so she bores me now. Get her pissed and put her on some elastic and I'll watch her.
People that value introversion find Jade fascinating (the introverts guide to 'entertaining').

How about making fun of her intelligence while knowing she is dyslexic?
How about editing her conversation with Ed so only her side is shown on the daily show to make her look desperate when the conversation shown in full on live feed gives it a total new meaning?
They put Maddy in to make Jade look like a jealous fool, surprise, she gets on well with others so that didnt work.
They have made fun of her relationship with Ed the whole way through, they never did that with Tully and Drew?
They have shown us Tims drawing, Tahan and Maddies drawing of Tim, Ed's painting and yet when the housemates were going on about How great Jades painting was they never let us see it.
Her best friend in the house leaves and we dont get to see her good bye message.
Dont even get me started on poor Mik's eviction and I dont even like Mik...
I didnt even read all of this thread and wont bother to reply because as the others said you talk abut dont lesson so its a waste of time. Yes she had a story line going in and she didnt do what BB wanted so he pushed that aside for the Tully/Drew romance. He wanted Jade gone and I guess is not happy at us for not letting it happen. It was the same with Mik, by the time she left they were like finally and threw her eviction in her face.
There is favoritism. I love Tim but can still see it because I am not bloody blind. Tim and Tahan are clearly the 'special' ones with the Tully/Drew relationship being their story tale ending. Great example they are setting for the kids of AU. I started this year with Tim, Jade, Tahan are my top 3. Regardless of who I liked or didnt liked I have eyes. You only have to look at Mik to know that, cant stand the girl and yet her treatment was totally unacceptable. I think BB has changed and honestly this year is likely to be it for me.
BB is meant to show up how it is and let us make our minds up. This year they are fully controlling what we see and trying to force us to believe that's all there is. That's not what BB is meant to be about. That sure as hell is not the show I grew to love years ago...

But is it the producers' fault that there are no other couples left in the house? If Tully had still been there then it would've affected her and Drew much more than Jade and Ed as they've been together almost from the get go. If another couple had hooked up also it would've been the same. Imagine if Tim and Boog had finally hooked up and started to sleep together and then suddenly got split!
BB is playing on the funny side of giving a couple grief. If there had been other couples in there they would've done the same - and probably moreso to Tully and Drew because you know Tully's hysterical reactions would've made tv gold. I don't think they're picking on Jade... they're picking on a couple and unfortunately for her she's in it.

Yes Tim, Tahan and Jade are my top three too - I wouldn't mind any of them winning.
I like all three - BUT I can clearly see that Tim and Tahan are being favoured by BB - Jade seems to be his source of amusement which can at times be a tad cruel.
I forgot to say that after Surly aka Alex tried to help Jade with the Ed thing people were actually calling bias on here towards Jade because they felt Alex shouldn't step in when he knew Jade was copping it on social media for her behaviour towards Ed. People felt that was BB's way of getting her to tone down the fawning over Ed when he wasn't reciprocating it at all so the public didn't vote her out as that was when social media really started to get sick of it.
I also thought giving her a list of 92 items to read, especially when Ben only had 3, was absolute bullshit because of her dyslexia. But as was explained to me (I was a rabid Jade fan at the time) I needed to step back and realise that we only see tiny clips of what happens in the DR and for all we know she was specifically given plenty of time to read through the list after being given it.

Yeah, great post but you could pretty much just take that first point alone and get the idea.
If they were just making fun of Jade over the Ed thing I could almost understand why they'd do it from a production perspective. I think it's mean but Ed cops it there too (as did Tully and Drew). However it's obviously not just the Ed thing. It seems quite personal. The constant stabs about her intelligence both on the show and on the OS are quite bad, especially when she's dyslexic.

I just want to be sure that dyslexia is a reading disorder? Is there more to it? Sorry but I can't generate an opinion unless I know my facts. Just quickly googled it and the basic I of is related to reading. So all you experts out there or atleast are more knowledgable, please respond
