Has Abiola left the house?

Has that ever happened in the other Big Brothers?

Some versions have been cancelled because of Covid but not because of Covid outbreaks inside the house (although there has been Covid cases inside the house).

Closest you get to a season getting cancelled because of sickness is probably the second season of Veliki Brat, which was cancelled
a week before its finale because previously evicted housemates got killed in a car accident.

We had our pre-recorded BB 2020 paused due to a crew member testing positive, therefore requiring the rest of the crew to isolate. With the crew gone, the HMs were technically isolated under the health rules at the time if we take the BB house as their residence. I say it was actually lucky we had the prerecorded format that year, so they could stop with minimal disruption on TV. It's not the same as a full cancellation, but it's still a disruption to production.

I remember one of their challenges being reduced to a house-side game of musical chairs because they had no crew to build the challenges.

Not quite. The crew member had been in close proximity to someone else who had just tested positive, so while they were waiting for the crew member's test to come back - they paused production. Most crew members were just sitting at home twiddling their thumbs waiting for the return to work call. The following day, the test came back as negative and production restarted the day after that. So the shutdown was only two days - and from memory, it just so timed out that the first day had been planned to be their weekly "rest day".

From there, (paranoid about the risk of having to shutdown production permanently and sending the housemates home) they accelerated the production so that a full game cycle (a Nominations challenge, nominating and Eviction) took place in a single day rather than being spread out over 2-3 days like it had previously. This happened daily until they reached the end and show was officially in the can.

The ad has been running a few days, even before the walkout happened.

Just would be surprised if there someone else yet unknown offered $ to leave instantly during a live

I guess all will be revealed

Thanks for the clarification. I should have checked before I posted, for the AIs' sake.

It's pretty clear now that's exactly what it's about, otherwise Abi could have stayed until tonight:

Hah, 2+ days of censorship and someone just said "I hope *I* get offered dosh to leave..." without getting muted.

Was it all worth it, Big Brother? 😬

@February ,FYI

I'm not sure how this is unclear at this point. She's been gone for two days. They were all called to the diary room before the feed was cut and her bed was completely stripped once it returned. At one point they were talking about money. It's a pretty obvious "twist".
