we have 2 fish that are 4 years old. My daughter has a theory that as soon as you name them, they die. These 2 have never had a name and have so far lived 3 years longer than any of the named others we have had over the years.

That's a good theory. I don't name mine either, but you do become attached to them. Mine knows when it's dinner time - he'll get excited and splash a bit when I approach with the food, but doesn't react at other times of the day, or if somebody else walks past.
 
Chatting to my online friend from Belfast... I was telling him how great our version of Gogglebox is so he watched a full episode on youtube! He loved Anastacia, Di, Symon & Adam, Yvie & Angie, and loved the whole show, and our accents of course.
