I have had many experiences. Whilst at work on nightshift, I saw a shadowy figure standing at the end of a patients bed, just for a few seconds. I thought oh a family member must be in there, so I went into the room and it was just the patient ( pt was terminal, died about 30 min later). When I first started my nursing training, it was hospital based then, we were the last group to go through via hospital trained, anyhoo, I was a student nurse and worked a night shift and had 2 agency RN's. Anyway a patient was on morphine, liquid, and the 2 RNs giving it spilt some. Instead of documenting it etc they just gave Pt half the dose. The Pt passed away that day( not because of half dose, he had CA lung. I was on days off had no idea he had passed, but 2 days later I had a dream about him, he was sitting in a blue banana lounge chair smoking a cigarette and with a drink in his hand and said don't worry love,I'm so much happier now. Since my dad passed a few months ago I have dreams about him a lot. I felt one day he was in the room, I woke up one morning and saw his face. My dad was a big lover of birds. Some days when I am going out I see about 30 birds on my front lawn. Never seen them before dad went, but see them there, and I just know it's dad. Might think I'm coco loco. Haha, have had many more experiences, but I won't bore you.

This post make me shiver.... in a good way. I love reading stuff like this.

Not that cold here this morning..... seriously thought it would be a lot worse, perhaps the cold snap has not hit the bay yet.

Hey there, I had a great sleep too, till I was woken up at 6am by the nephews fighting :bang::bang::bang: Friday is the morning when I can sleep in, but not today :(....

Today I'm going to see finding dory, gotta go to the home care office and pick up more gloves and then I've got to work at the pub tonight 4pm to 12:30 am.... what are you up to?
I literally have no plans today.

I do have a VHS stick full of TV shows, and a Fitbit that requires 10000 steps, so it will be a battle between doing nothing and doing something.[DOUBLEPOST=1466718041][/DOUBLEPOST]

How about get the 10000 steps done first, then catch up on all your shows.... oh and what a VHS stick? Thought for a second there we went back in time to the 1990s and you were using an actual VHS... lol

I can never remember the acronym for the thing you stick into the tv to make the downloaded shows appear, so now I just make it up.

No I don't believe in zombies. They are fiction.... unless you count the Haitian zombies.[DOUBLEPOST=1466718403][/DOUBLEPOST]

My son loves to bore me with stories of zombies and the spirit world.

Zombies/afterlife and that podcast dude who hunts for his own meat eats are his three favourite topics. Every time I get bogged down in one of his stories I daydream how my life would have been had I had a girl....

Oooh Joe Rogan..... this girl loves him. Russel Brand was just on his podcast. I'm in the process of listening to him right now.

Hey Trala, do you remember at the end of the 2014 season of Big Brother you said that your son knew me and I was so confused coz I was pretty sure I had never met him... what was all that about, been meaning to ask you about that for ages....

Yep, love listening to them on my break when I'm doing home care. I like to sit at the beach in my car munching away on soy sticks and listening to podcasts.
My son does too.

You are an odd little generation.

Hey are you saving lots of $$?

You need to bank at lease 10% of every wage.

Haha were are not odd, just different to your generation.

Latley my saving efforts have not been too good, had a few unexpected expenses.... but I've been paying my mum back every week for the car... and I did save up for rego and that stupid expensive green slip, had my car serviced etc.... will be trying to save a lot more after next week.

Good girl :)

Having money in the bank allows choice and a certain freedom.

How is it going living with your sister? Are you itching for your own place, or are you content?

I want my own place so bad. There's a customer at work who has a granny flat he is trying to rent out.... he lives near the marina, perfect spot. Close to the centre of town. Grabbed his number and was intending to have a look, told my sister and she said she is not ready for me to move out yet.... when she will be ready idk.... very frustrating.

Inigo, that is unfair of your sister to put that on you.

You need to look after you. You have a car and you can offer support by visiting frequently, but ultimately it is not your responsibility to fix her.

Go and see the granny flat. Just so you can see what is out there.

Yeah that's pretty much what the boyfriend said. I feel real bad tho, like my rent helps her out and I pay one 3rd of the internet and chip in for water and electricity. If I was not here she would be struggling even more.

Babe, she would be okay, she might have to pick up more work, but she will be okay.

You have given support for a number of months. There is a fine line between giving support and enabling.

Your sister needs to work out what she has to do in order to pay her bills. Supporting her financially is not your responsibility.

Moving forward for you is not going to be easy because your sister has become heavily reliant on you, but you have done your best to help, and now it is time for you to carve your future.
