Witty Banter's Winter Coat Tale Wonderland Report!
My goodness, where to start and harder still, where to stop? Winter time means one thing, it's coat time fashion fans. Triple yay! I was mentally prepared to dazzle and I wasn't disappointed. I gave my new coat it's debut today, and just wow. Amazing. I could just feel the admiring looks and happiness that my on point ensemble brought others without even asking. It brought an extra spring to my step knowing I was bringing these people I didn't know aesthetic joy. I felt as though I was dressed camouflaged for a sea made of beautiful people, but even then I would risk shining brightest. The black that goes with anything. The grey accent side panels. Capacious pockets. Rugged zipper. I was modern. I was warm. I starred.
I didn't test the waterproof qualities, as I was bathed in welcoming and adoring hiver sunlight, but I knew, reassuringly, that it was there if I needed. I felt so secure. So snug and safe. There was even a random pocket for miscellany. I carried some miscellany, just to be cheeky. It all worked so well.
Coat Tip for the day: If you choose au naturel as your glove option, use those pockets! I always say, if you don't prepare for warm hands now, be prepared for cold hands later.

Caught up with Mutley today! Lots of love and laughter ensued, he really is such a beautiful man. I am so lucky to have friends like you guys in my life.
We have had a fabulous time so far. We went to a comedy show last night. So much laughter. We are off to Lygon St tonight for some Italian. Tomorrow we are meeting up with friends for brekky on Degraves, then tomorrow night we are off to watch the Cats in Geelong.
We fly out on Monday, so we are packing as much in every day as we can.
Anyway, I best be off, it is almost wine o'clock.

My partner is currently snoring the German national anthem! It doesn't seem to matter what time I go to bed, I am a 05:45 riser, him on the other hand, if he lies still for more than 78 seconds, he snores.
A funny, on Wednesday evening we did a bit of a bar hop through the secret alleys of the city, and I was feeling a delicious Shirazy glow, and I swear to Prisus, while people watching, I thought I saw Bleachy! To the point I text him saying "I think you just walked past me". Thank goodness my Shirazyness was still at behaviour managing level. One more and I would have been screaming "BLEACHY DUDE! IT'S ME TRALA FROM BEHIND BIG BROTHER!!"
Groover posted something in the Sayings, Quotes and Facts Thread. It is a saying by the Dalai Lama. It gives perspective in a simple sentence, if you haven't already, go have a squiz.

We decided we are going to make this an annual trip. I am loving it, though the prospect of day 4 of freezing is a bit off putting.
The whole hot cold thing is doing my head in! You go from freezing to super toasty every time you walk into a store.

Thermals are your friend, have you brought much? Be hard since we in full on winter mode and you wouldn't get use out of the stuff at home! I hope you brought a little blue box to go home with!
Not overly. I bought a pain of shoes, and a couple of beeswax type lipsticks. I use a product called Burts Beeswax lip balm, totes recommend it for dry lips, anyhoo David Jones has a choice of beeswax lipstick by Burt, which I have never seen before, so I bought a couple, well a few, okay I bought 8!!!!
No blue box for me though.

We are catching up with some friends we haven't seen since 2013 for brekky, then we will take the train to Geelong in the arvo.

@Trala - Just lurking around here - I got some good woolen Thermals at the Vic Markets about 5 years ago that are awesome, still have and wear ...... Cost about $10 a piece .... if you are freezing -

Can you not just understand that people learn from their mis-takes and correct them and move onto a life that brings happiness, that they did not have when they where going though dark days?
Why are you so COLD? Life is about learning, and moving on and giving and etc - BUT YOU WITTY - seem to be about unforgiveness and resentment. It takes a person a lot of soul and of themself to be honest about were they were and what they came from and what they have done to speak and share that. Sharing that information might just help another.And it is awesome to share that.
Sure, it might not be strawberrys and cream and it is what life IS and HOW people deal with the situations they are in at the time. BLESSED are you - that you are SO SMART that you dealt with your life the way you did. Not all are from 'your place' nor would we want to be, if it ended up with the attitude you have, (speaking for myself)
Give Us ALL A BREAK ............. Go Take some form of Chill Pill and let this place be a little bit kinder - most people here send good vibes to others, but all I see here is you sending negativity towards others, whlst they are stepping forward and you trying to trip them up ......
