It's been great... I was supposed to go to Mexico this week but my friend bailed at the last minute... So I'm looking forward to going back to work on Sunday... Yes I'm still flying... In fact I have my first pairing that touches the east coast next week... I also just celebrated my 18 month anniversary on Tuesday!
Fuck me sideways, that has gone quick.
It only feels like last week you were sharing your goal to get into the sky!
I hope you are feeling suitable proud for making it happen.
My partner and I were going to do a European tour this year, but we bought a house instead. Having a cash sucking home has put our travel plans on the back burner for now.
Mexico is on my bucket list. A gf of mine was there last year and loved it.

Haha. I did little bit of DJ-ing on a local radio station a few years ago. My mate was the host so I came in and did a few shifts with him. While it was fun, it's not really what I want to do. Haha. Thanks for the consistent encouragement. At least you like my voicemail message, my dad always complains that he hears that message more than he hears my own voice. Lol!
No place found. We are all crammed into mums house for now. It's going okay though, I'm rarely home anyway. We are probably being a bit overly picky with what we want in a house. The right one will come up eventually
I'm living in my mum's house currently too, she says I can stay forever and I would kind of love to but I really do feel like I'm overstaying my welcome!
Good luck finding somewhere else though - don't rush it if you don't have to!

Home ownership is awesome though... I wish I was able to own my own home right now...
I haven't been to Mexico yet either... Instead I went to Las Vegas 3 times in the last year... It's kind of a blessing in disguise with this trip getting cancelled as I now have more money in the bank for my big trip in November... And possibly one or two smaller trips...

Oh yeah she is here too, I think she is especially keen to move out ASAP which I can understand. It was to tide us over to the new year and save some money and now it's already March and we haven't budged.
The spawn is going well! Everything is going much smoother now and I finally got a decent look at it too.
Oh I don't own it, we are paying the bank for it on a weekly basis. The plan is to have it paid in 10 years.
Sounds like a good plan.
Another gf of mine did a US trip last November for a month, and the highlight for her was Las Vegas. She loved it! She spent 9k on just three nights in one of the more swanky hotels. She was shocked at the high level of homeless where ever they went. She was also surprised by the litter everywhere. She said we take our own clean streets for granted.
I can't wait to hear how you like Mexico.
