Back in May 2012 I won $1143.15 and never realised it ... Because I was registered at the time they've traced me and mailed out a cheque
It's like finding $20 tucked in a winter coat at the start of winter ... Only much much betterHad so many expenses for son's graduation again this year this will put a big dent in those

I bought myself the cutest bracelet today and the OT loving and losing Dads fest we have going on at the moment inspired it!
I have basically spent the last hour lovingly gazing at it.
Made me think of you @shadow2. I wish I had bought myself something precious when my dad initially died. Then I could have had it as a totem to remind me that he is always with me on those awful days when I felt the loss of him most.
I bought a Dad totem today. Better late than never.

Did I just use the memory of my dead dad to justify selfishly rewarding myself with jewels then try and encourage my grieving friend to do the same?!

Was there a storm last night? ... We babysat a Samoyd one year (we were house sitting and he came with the deal). He used to scale a 5 foot high metal fence or dig under it at the first hint of stormy weather ... Would take off into National Park and eventually return days later absolutely filthy and hungry
He was a pound dog ... And came with major issues ... Friendly one minute then when you were trying to get him to go outside at night he'd bare his teeth at you ... Thankfully I noticed he was scared of one of their chairs that had wheels under it so I'd open door and then start rolling chair towards him ... He'd hightail it outside and I'd still have all limbs free of any missing chunks
No storm, she pushed the gates open and goodness knows where she went! Very unusual for her to wander off - she is usually such a cling onJust a thought ... Did the noise of the juicer scare Joyjoy ?
I know you mean well... but don't you think maybe she'd prefer a bone or something?
JOKE JOYCE. I'm glad she came back.
LOL -!!!!!!
She's just a doggie. They don't really get stress or punishment once it's after the fact I don't think...
Yeah, I hear you! I couldn't be angry with her! She is really funny and smart. She opened the fride the other day and stole a sandwich. She ate the bread and pork, but left the lettuce and tomato all over the floor!
She is not allowed in the Kitchen and knows where the line is, that she is not allowed to cross and usually doesn't but she snuck in, whilst I was upstairs and stole it.
When I found the evidence, I shamed her and you should have seen the guilt on her face and she ran off and hid in the Bedroom for hours!

Either way, it's a nice gesture. I have a similar piece of jewellery but I never wear it, I really should. It's strange how much sentiment you can attach to an item, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
I am useless also with Sudoku, so going to try out your suggested site jigzone.comMy mother does the cryptic and straight crosswords in the Age every day. She instilled in me a liking for them. For jigsaws online I go to jigzone.com I am useless with numbers so a sudoku is not on my radar. I like doing quizzes too. Must be the many I did in Cleo etc.

Beautiful beach day today. I love living on the Central Coast, especially when we have beautiful sunny days like today.
Avoca was a little over crowded, but walking around the rocks made for a very pleasant afternoon.
When are you going to become a Coastie @jessy_girl ??

I once did a lenticular Ken Duncan jiggie puzzle and the moving images nearly sent me insane! Haha. Nah I did enjoy it. I need to buy a jiggie puzzle mat, otherwise they take up too much room laying around the house.

Lol! Yes I feel like I did make that extremely generous offer. If I recall they were personalised with everyone's individual names on them too? Or am I inflating my own generosity.
I'll get to it next year

I'm holding you to this. I'm not even expecting a personalised one although I do think that was part of the original offerLol! Yes I feel like I did make that extremely generous offer. Ooh yes good question, maybe also next year! I should be on top of this already, I had hoped to have a settled base before my baby is born but I still have plenty of time I guess.
