I had the best day!

I got everything done I wanted to do AND passed 3 levels on Candy Crush! There are two things in life I truly love, wearing nipple clamps and enjoying plants.

I bought a plant today in honour of your dad @shadow2! Your Dads name will now be my plants name, so what will it be?!

Here he is in all his beautiful glory. Every day I water him, I will be thinking of you. Xo

You are suppose to make me laugh not cry!! Thank you though, that means a lot. His name is Laurie. And thank you to you and everyone for the kind words. I was a mess yesterday, but I'm doing ok today. I know @Willoughby, you are going through the same with your dad:(, and @Gemini :frown:. @Tuttle condolences to u.
Ok carry on:).... Love the plant btw

So - spend $160 at Woolies got $20 last week - spent $160 at Woolies this week and bought a few Cheeses and got another $30 - that is a huge discount - I think? I was happy with that :) Bought a box of chocolates ;)

Anyway ... not meaning to sound like a victim, and all - BUT I have had looters, you know the type of surge that lap up stuff that is left behind, even though it isn't .... the type that come though after a disaster and look for what they can take - well, that is how I felt today ... but they got busted in the act because of CCTV - They tried to take my Crab Pots!!!!!!!!!! Not only that, they pinched a Wheelie Bin AND my BBQ (Which was really old but still functioned) - There goes my xmas party (joking)

People say LOCK up your stuff - but I reckon they should be locked up!!!!

Makes me vomit in my mouth that stuff like this happens ....... I wonder if I bought some cheap Chocolates and injected them with something and threw them at the gate or was able to come up with some pouches of poison, to implant on the underside, and were let off if someone was not suppose to lift them...

I best leave it karma and not my angry imgination at this point - I don't want to sound (c)reepy.........

Laurie it is!

Since so many have shared their loss, I will join the queue. My dad died 18 years ago, he was in my Top 3 greatest loves. It makes me so sad he never got to see me do right. In his last weeks, he held my son and while sobbing he said "promise me, you will always look after your mother, okay? Always look after your mother...". That gives you an idea of how much faith he placed in me! He left me the responsibility of a nearly 8 year old! Ha!

I know it is selfish, but I would rather him alive and suffering, than gone all together. Enjoy and treasure every moment. If you need to take your mind off things or you need cyber support, you always have us.

Where is the condolence in this ridiculous bigotry?
Well it goes without saying as far as the history of Big Brother goes, you are a great GREAT thinker. You also have no soul and no friends.

She might be on to something!

Affable wrote must of instead of must've or must have and Mooseface corrected him. Same as writing could of instead of could've or could have.

BB forums taught me to love reading and to write!

When I first started foruming in the Channel 10 BB Forums I didn't know my your from my you're. Nor could I formulate a sentence or from a paragraph. While I am still obviously no writer, the constant ridicule from the Grammar Nazi's really help me improve and develop in my writing skills.

There is no way I could have successfully completed my nursing studies without it!

@Trala - do you have an azeala, and if you do, can yo call one Col?
I don't have an Azalea, sorry. But I will be buying some more plants when we put a garden in around the pool. No Azalea's though, while I appreciate a full flowering bush, they are not a plant I would buy.

Devil woman!!

I admit to being a stickler for correct spelling and grammar but am not an expert by any means. You've learned, you've applied the learning and been successful. That's not intended to sound patronising either, more to be encouraging I hope.

Thanks KK.

Learning is a never ending story. Someone posted a word in here just yesterday that I had never seen before (benevolent) which has a knock on Google/learning affect.... Or is that effect?! I still have trouble with those two...

I still don't understand verbs, and the like. Correct punctionation is probably a weakness of mine too.

Judging you on your writing, you look pretty expertish to me.

How is your Da?

Expertish, lol. Ish being the operative part of the word, but thankyou. I hear you re the learning being a never ending story. If I am not sure of a word, I will consult my Oxford Dictionary or google it. In your case, effect is the word I'd use.

Dad got the all clear during the week, thankyou for asking. He will have to have regular bloods etc I presume, and will find out in a couple of week as to that regime. He does have that niggle in the back of his mind that it will come back which I am sure is a normal thought process, however he's pleased that it's all gone well thus far.

We snobs would say wall sticker motivationals are a true sign you have no soul :p There is nothing more suggestible than taking advice and motivation from a wall, or blackboard.
