Just popping in to say a quick hello. Blessings to you all.
Yes. Too busy Consuela. I found I was spending too long every day on the forum and so sent myself to banistan. Every couple of months I allow myself a browse. I remember you all fondly.
Hey you! I thought you were trying to read through everything you had missed on the forum, then you were planning on joining in.... Oh well, how have you been?Hi everyone. I have been AWOL. Hope everyone is doing well!

I just went for a run and my pace was getting so bad towards the end when out of nowhere this giant Rottweiler appeared and tried to jump up on me and then started chasing me. Now I love rotties but not so much in that context, but it definitely made me pick up my pace.
Quite possibly...
Oh my oh my jessy_girl you just lived through one of my nightmares!(Well actually two of my nightmares: being chased by a blood sucking demon dog, and running.)
But apparently I read that when you meet a dog you have to stand perfectly still? Like if you make movements it will start to attack you?
You got to have faith! Without that faith to hope then i am nothing but a leaf on a tree.
Yeah it was a tad alarming. I like dogs in general but I am wary of strange dogs because I have no idea of their temperament etc, let alone a giant scary dog with no owner in sight.
It makes sense to stand still really, I was already running (well, a slow jog by this stage) and was not keen to hang around near the beast. When it's owner eventually found it he was angry at me for running, pretty sure not letting your scary dog roam the streets is more tantamount to me still moving, seriously as if I'm going to stop.
As you were moving at more than walking pace it possibly thought you were playing. Stopping would've been the better option but the owner shouldn't have had it off lead.I just went for a run and my pace was getting so bad towards the end when out of nowhere this giant Rottweiler appeared and tried to jump up on me and then started chasing me. Haha, something like that will get you going... Last time I went down the coast I went for a bush walk and suddenly the sky changed to almost black and it started hailing big chunks of ice... I think that day was the longest distance I had ever run in one go...I felt bloody amazing afterwards!I just went for a run and my pace was getting so bad towards the end when out of nowhere this giant Rottweiler appeared and tried to jump up on me and then started chasing me.
