Oysters are good for zinc :) I think they're supposed to be a lot higher than anything else from memory

but oopseys ... not going to be a good source for this discussion

In other news I got some results from a blood test today and I am low in Zinc, turns out you get Zinc from meat, I just thought that being a vego I would only need to take iron tablets....Oops... Gotta pick up some Zinc tablets. 😄

Oh that sucks. Any restrictive diet puts you at risk of this I suppose, I am low on quite a few things and funnily enough they are all things mainly sourced in meat which is my main food group. Supplements are your friend here! Zinc tablets are great for your hair and skin as well.

Well thanks. While I hope I don't deserve too many bad things I'm not sure that I "deserve" a holiday as my life is fairly cruisy. Always good to get a break though I suppose.

So did I... I know Calcium and iron can be found in veggies.
From a quick google search it looks like Zinc can be found in things like seeds, grains, nuts, kidney beans, chickpeas... basically lots of things that I actually do eat. The doctor did say I am only a little low, so no biggie... everything else was fine though, like calcium, iron, magnesium etc..

I'm actually a little excited now that I can take some zinc tablets if it makes my hair and skin look and feel better.
