The records used to be great feats that not many people could even attempt, that or strange physical formations, now it's mostly just stupid stuff that are not anything to be proud of.

Maybe I should go without having a shower for a few years? That could be a Guinness World Record plus it will save me time a few minutes a day.

It's worth a shot. Although people in developing countries have probably been doing that for a bit already.

I guess you need to clear things with some governing body and get it overseen at all times, that seems like a lot of effort.

...I don't know if I told you all this before in the past couple of days or not but the other day I had my first hamburger in about (we worked it out) 9-10 years!... it was so beautiful!... I can't for the life of me fathom out why I had left it so long to have one... (I'm more of a chicken wings or spring poll type of take-away person usually)... I'm going to have to have another one soon... I can't stop thinking of how nice it tasted lol!... cheers.
I'm on the side of the spectrum in that I have a burger pretty much everyday, a good substitute for breakfast I find. :angelic: A burger is after all a glorified sandwhich, isn't it? Just two pieces of bread with a bit of meat in between.

Mind you it's one of the cheapest ones on offer at maccas (part of the loose change menu), the double beef and bacon that used to cost only 3 bucks.

It sucks that since Feb I think of this year the tight arses now force you to buy a meal along with it, you can't buy it by 'itself' anymore. Bastards, business must be tough/slow for them to resort to these tactics.

Anyway I like it because it feels me up pretty much for most of the day and being a relatively small burger it doesn't have the same amount of calories/kilojousles/what-have-you of the other 'proper' fattie more expensive burgers on the menu.

What do you think of the hungry jack burgers?

Too low. Like I said I don't know what it is but the taste is generally fine. *shrugs*

Every time I've bought a burger from HJ it feels like it's been out of the oven/grill for over 30 minutes, they're cold in other words.

Well today I bought a new quilt. After repeating what you said @bleachy_dude, about spending the most time in our beds, my hubby too thought it was worth spending on, and 500-600 dollars later, plus new bamboo sheets and a quilt covers just because. So I blame you for my further addiction to shopping bleachy ;) (It was totally worth it though- plus the 40% sale kind of lured me in but anyways)

Haha awesome. It's so true.

Did you get feather / down blankets? Did you figure out which one is better?!? Higher down or higher feather percentage?

I bought the goose down one. The lady said it provides better insulation than duck feathers because geese are bigger. It's also the most breathable, so light in weight but gives the warmth needed.

I kind of got a little confused about the feather fill I admit. From what u understand normal quilts have quills but goose down quilts don't, so the more filling in them than the better quality you are buying.

The part I lived about it the most is all you need to do is shake the quilt up again and it's back to feeling amazing again.

I tried it over there for a bit and I loved the feel. Loved how light it is- it's so different from the quilt I had. Will try it officially tonight. As a must I had to air the quilt overnight after spraying eucalyptus on it, then I'll let it air out in the sun for a bit too. I'm really a germaphobe haha.

Okay I've bored this thread with my quilt enough- though it's most probably the most action it's getting as of lately.

Okay so I've read an article that says the average cost of a wedding is $65k. I'm not sure how to feel about this. I think it's an incredible amount of money and although I admit I was entertained by how wow factored the royals wedding was and even Kim Kardashian's wedding, I think for the average Australian it's a little on the waste of money side.
