All this IT stuff gives me a headache, lol. Still I can't help me impressed by it all, and passionate people are better than apathetic people.

Don't worry, it gives me a headache too... I am the complete opposite of my hubby with the technology side. But like you I do find it impressive too.

Yes, having a passion is great. Just like you are passionate with your uni course. How is that going?

I finished my other unit. And started 2 units this week actually. So now I'm officially full time... Eek!

I did really well with my other unit. My last assessment I received a high distinction! And I was 1.5 short for a HD overall. I'm thrilled with the distinction all up though. Considering many were not happy I will take it. I loved the unit and will most definitely miss it.

Have you started yet? Excited? Prepared?

Well done on your high distinction! You obviously worked very hard for that.

I start on Monday 22nd June. I am excited. I can't wait to see how I go and how well I do. I took your advice about buying textbooks in advance. I looked around for the best price online, and got the textbooks i needed.

Oh good! Soon you will learn from other uni students where they swap and buy used text books too. I do that sometimes if I don't think the book will be of use to me.

Btw, I'm not sure if your online uni is the same, but look it up anyways on Facebook. There may be groups you can join for the course your doing and the unit you will do too. You can create a new fb account if you don't want to use your own because believe me it used to fill up my news feeds completely. Now i just have a fb purely for uni and nothing else.

Don't put pressure on yourself that you need to do really well. I found the first two units difficult because I had to adjust. Just enjoy the learning experience... Not long now reepy!

Facebook idea sounds good. I don't really use facebook that much. Just mainly for games and things like that. Just because it can seem very invasive privacy wise. But that is just my personal opinion.

You are right about the pressure thing, and logically I'll always be thinking that. But emotionally may be a different story. It will be a battle in my head between the two and I just hope that emotion doesn't win again.
 
Umm so does anyone wish to fess up to trying that meat pie pizza? (Maybe you, @bleachy_dude?) I want to try it but feel socially unable to do so and would probably prefer not to eat a whole one anyway, I need someone to share both the pizza and the shame.

I actually liked the hot dog crust one but had to downplay this to my horrified friends and family. It's just pizza though...

OMG had it for the first time on the weekend and I'm converted ...

sorry jessy_girl but the meatpie in crust pizza just made me shudder and I couldn't imagine even trying it :S

Oh wow that looks and sounds so good. Even better than the meat pie dare I say.

See, for further context a lot of my extended family is Italian so Pizza Hut is already forbidden as it is, but until my Nonna starts adding unnecessarily gross modifications to her pizza she leaves me no choice.

The crust is an actual meat pie and then after that you get to the pizza part. Not exactly a sophisticated health item.

I always thought the best part, or one of the best parts, about pizza, is that it can be interpreted in so many different ways and people can use their imaginations in regards to making their pizzas.
