I went to the chemist to get shampoo today and I fucked up and bought a dry shampoo... Anyone use dry shampoo? Does it work well? I've got the Touch of Silver brand.

Sometimes I wonder how I manage to get dressed in the morning :tongue:

Yeah I don't think it's good to use it in place of normal shampoo. I think it's mainly just for in betweens.

Not even close, it's a bar of soap that I usually use for hand washing, both laundry and kitchen. It was my only choice and actually made my hair feel better. I usually use a purple shampoo and toner though.

Yeah supposedly so. I know someone who has gone months now but honestly it looks like crap. I just hate the feel of greasy hair, I feel so unclean. I can usually have about 2 days between washes at max.[DOUBLEPOST=1429437141][/DOUBLEPOST]

I've heard this. I dunno. I wash my hair every day with Garnier Fructis

They launched with such fanfare, supposed to have samples all the time, then it went weekly. Now it's very few weeks. Haha

Oh my, that is strange that it made your hair feel better, or is it,?... maybe all this money that we spend on salon quality shampoos could be better spent on other things, and we could all use soap to wash our hair.

Yeah it was pretty crazy at the beginning. My sisters boyfriend was managing the social media at the outset and he said there were so many abusive messages from people who were angry that they had spent the past hour refreshing the website and still missed out on the free sample. Lol such disproportionate anger, he was like "why don't you ask for your money back?"

It really depends on your hair type and lifestyle. I think the rule of thumb is twice a week.

Yes I know, really weird, but maybe it makes sense. It was only out of desperation but I had the same thinking as you and started to wonder if the whole shampoo industry is a rip off. I don't think I'd do it all the time though, plus it still required conditioning.

Yeah, greasy hair does not feel good. But I suppose if we got into a war and we all had to like to give up shampoo then I suppose I could cope.

When I used to have blue hair, I didn't wash it for a month and it was a huge struggle to get to that point, but after that month my hair was so soft and not greasy in the slightest. It was so good. I think I eventually washed it after about seven weeks, haha.

Now, I wash my hair maybe every four days or so. Maybe even a week. I can never really remember. I feel like my hair works better when it isn't washed though.
