Just don't get all the hate etc, reporting people for quoting another to discuss what is 'happening' and other shit I sometimes read and
seeing it so many times

Comments like 'this place has gone to shit' - 'that there are trolls posting here' just to name two!

If people don't like a post - Why can't people Scroll ON?

I don't always respond to a discussion, but I do see many interesting things discussed here.

@Witty Banter looking at your avatar got me searching info on "Passions".

I can't believe a show like that ever existed and it was a popular American daytime soap too!! Haha. :laugh:

I always thought Timmy was a child actor. I just learned that he was 17-20 during his run on the show. Unfortunately he has passed away. Ironically he passed away the same day the episode aired when his character did as well.
 
@bleachy_dude I just noticed your avatar moves when clicking on your profile info.

Your eyebrows move!! :jawdrop: It took me 3 clicks to confirm your avatar did animate. I thought it was my imagination.

Well I think that most people do just scroll on past the posts that they don't like, sometimes they might read what is being said and get very very annoyed with the trolls.
For JordanS it is probably kind of hard considering the 2 people that he is having a problem with seem to be EVERYWHERE on this forum. I would say he is just frustrated... like a lot of people on here, except he is the only one atm to call the people out that he is annoyed with.

It's human nature for people to get annoyed, so other people on this forum are for sure getting annoyed with other people, having said that I only know who is annoying JordanS and who annoys me. Did you think that I meant that lots of people on this forum were annoyed by you and your mate, that's sad, the whole world does not revolve around you two.

It does! It's only a recent thing. Thanks to the wonderful @Mr Stickyfingers
 
Well at least JordanS and WB are keeping this place lively. I've always presumed JordanS's shtick was transparent to everybody. To be fair he does take after Kingston who has been given carte blanche to abuse anybody he damn pleases without any repercussions. lol

I'm not one to be into soaps but I caught a couple of eps of this show around 2002-2004 late in the afternoon and outside of sitcoms this was one the most hilarious things I've accidentally stumbled across. It was one of those shows that it was so bad that it was good. lol


I missed it after it was taken off that timeslot and rescheduled around the wee hours of the day. To this day I have no clue why Ch7 (I think) did that. It didn't matter anyway since it was cancelled not long after (2005-06).

It just further confirms that soap aficionados have no taste that they can't recognise genius in their genre when it hits them in their face and instead prefer tired derivative pap such as Days of Our Lives, Bold and the Beautiful etc... *smh*

I remember reading back then that NBC actually decided to stop selling "Passions" to overseas broadcasters. I have no idea why. It was quite a bizarre move.

EDIT: I did some research. Turns out it was perhaps due to music rights which is why NBC made that decision.
 
Passions just gives me the heebie jeebies and I don't know why. Was it a joke? Was it real? Why were they always watching Passions on the show?

I guess it was good as it deviated away from the typical daytime soap so possibly had a broader audience without isolating their typical fan base, but it seriously creeps me out.
