General O/T Chit Chat Thread

So obviously I've heard of one direction and obviously they have memberd to make up the band (one less now) I have no clue on which one is which or whatever any of their songs are, this news does not affect me at all.... But for all the screaming teenage girls out there, I'm sure that there will be some type of support group out there for you. Remember after all the crying and fluid loss, drink plenty of water.

What does everyone think of these boots... I like them, but am a cheap skate and don't want to pay $90 for them... having said that I can not find ANYTHING similar out there that is cheaper....

Not my personal style but I do like them on others. They look comfy too. What would you wear them with?

I have developed a thing for walking in the rain. Took me fifty years to like it though. My pic on the left is me after walking in the rain a few weeks ago. It's quite soothing. The rain, not the pic :)

It's a freeing feeling, and the pic shows how happy you are.

I have to ask why fifty years of walking in the rain though?

This is actually no surprise to me. When I went to their concert a few months ago they seemed like 5 individuals on stage. None of their playful banter between them and I don't think I saw Zayn crack a smile once. He looked positively miserable to be there.
I actually thought the end of 1D would come by Harry leaving for a solo career.
I wouldn't be surprised if they fulfil their recording contract with a 'best of' and that's the end of them.

I have always hated getting my face wet unnecessarily and will dry my face first after bathing and swimming. I never liked the rain and avoided getting out in it, but a few years ago I got caught in gentle rain walking home from work and I quite enjoyed it. I've liked it ever since. Fifty years of avoiding it really. Three years of getting out in it.

I thought he seemed miserable too. There seemed to be a divide within the group too. But Zayn looks like he is really sick of the public fascination in all that he does.

Oh, that makes more sense. I thought you walked in rain because you were getting to work or something. Well I'm glad that after avoiding it, you now think it is lovely

Yeah pretty sure they all want out. Zayn just happens to be the first to so say fuck it and pull the plug.
 
I can actually see a Beatlesque thing happening now with 1D. When John Lennon left The Beatles, that was it for the band.

I know the circumstances are completely different but I'm not sure how the remaining band members are going to carry on with Zayn gone. The dynamics of the group won't be the same obviously. Who knows?
