General O/T Chit Chat Thread

I was pretty casual at school and only chose my university preferences at school on the day it was required. I only chose a double degree including science because my sister was doing just a single degree and to be an ass.

Once in university I dropped half the double degree because that half was too 'collegial' and did straight science.

PS I would use the time machine I stole from you to visit mathematicans Bill and Ted style.

What mathematicians would they be?

There are enough that it wouldn't matter too much, but Euler probably sprang to mind first.

The thought of some of them having access to computers is mind boggling. It might be nerdy, but programming the various Pi calculations from 2000 years can be done in a couple of hours and is deeper than just reading history.

PS did you see that Natalia Kills is a former child star from Press Gang/Pony Club type shows.

Wouldn't you be interested to see a mathematician nicknamed cyclops?

The best parts of history are the 'wrong' parts. I'd enjoy being in a flat earth world, but I suppose parts of America still are. I would love to speak to someone who genuinely believed you could sail off the edge of the world.
 
Back before animated gifs we had to insult people with words. Animated gifs were introduced but compuserve started asserting copyright.
